As from the 11th July, Fuengirola’s River Park has some fantastic new facilities and activities for people of all ages. These new additions make this beautiful public space even more attractive to visitors and tourists and make it the perfect setting to enjoy a pleasant family outing.

Here’s a breakdown of all the new facilities you’ll be able to enjoy on your next visit to the River Park in Fuengirola:

  • Two new kiosks
  • A 140 metre Zip line
  • New Pedalos
  • Bouncy Castle
  • Bicycle hire
  • Paddle surf and kayak hire

The two new kiosks will have terraced areas with chairs and tables and public toilet facilities. Open every day, they’ll offer a range of snack foods and drinks (which don’t require extensive preparation) including sandwiches, crisps, nuts, cakes, etc.

The most exciting addition to the park’s activities – and the one which thrill seekers are bound to love – is the new zip line that crosses the Fuengirola River. At 140 metres in length and towering 18 metres in height it ensures an adrenalin pumped experience. The journey starts off at the base of the Sohail Castle and ends at the other end of the ‘Puente de la Armada’(Armada Bridge). Those of you interested in trying out this fun ride across the river can do so everyday from 11.00am to 2.00pm and 5.00pm to 10.00pm; however, you will have to pay €4 for the privilege.

We definitely recommend you visit the River Park in Fuengirola and make the most of these brilliant new facilities. Are you up for it?

Note: Fuengirola’s RiverPark is only 20 minutes (by car) from Sunset Beach Club; you can get more information at our leisure desk located on the 6th floor next to reception.
