More than 20,000 people descended upon the beautiful city of Ronda this weekend to celebrate the 3rd edition of Ronda Romántica, the city’s May Fair which offers a fascinating look at its history and traditions.
On Sunday 17th May 2015, the promenade in front of Sunset Beach Club in Benalmádena will become the meeting point for the 13th edition of the Cudeca Walkathon.
Every year, we here at Sunset Beach Club provide our unconditional support to this fantastic event which aims to raise awareness for the incredible work the Cudeca Foundation does for Cancer patients here on the Costa del Sol. The funds raised during the Walkathon also allow for the continued palliative care the Cudeca hospice offers to more than 800 cancer patients and their families totally free of charge.
Malaga’s ‘La Noche en Blanco’ (White Night) has established itself as one the city’s most important cultural events. On Saturday 16th May – from 8:00pm to 02:00am – all who visit the Costa del Sol’s capital will be treated to an unbelievable selection of free cultural activities.
This years event will have 183 different activities, with a couple of notable new additions including the new Pompidou Centre and the collection from the Russian Museum of St Petersburg. All the activities are grouped into six categories and themes:
- Art, Museums and Exhibitions (48 activities)
- Artistic performances. Urbanand Street actions (27 activities)
- Visual Arts (15 activities)
- Literary and Scenic Arts (25 Activities)
- Music (37 activities)
- Extraordinary Visits (29 activities)
On Saturday 2nd May, Benalmadena Marina invites you to take a stunning voyage around the world in just one afternoon and get to know international cultures through their dances and traditions.
Named ‘Danzas del Mar’ (Dances of the Seas) this new event is the latest in a series of initiatives which form part of the local government’s plan to breath new life to the Marina and create a truly unique leisure and entertainment offering to all who visit.
This unique fair has grown to become a reference at local, regional and even international level. From the 29th April to the 3rd May, the Fuengirola fair ground will be home to a fun and multicultural event for all the family.
In previous editions, this same event managed to attract over 1 million visitors! The town hall hopes to equal this impressive figure this year, thereby serving as a perfect stage to promote the virtues of Fuengirola and its multicultural population.
