Mijas Celebrates its ‘Tourist Day’ with Flamenco & Free Wine!

Mijas Tourist Day

Poster for Mijas’ Tourist Day

The Summer Season is almost at an end and the small village of Mijas wants to celebrate in style by organising a large party in honour of the thousands of tourist who have visited them throughout the year; it’s their particular way of saying thank you!

Mijas’ Tourist Day – a celebration which has been going for more than 10 years – will take place next Wednesday 17th September from midday in the town’s ‘Virgen de la Peña’ square. The town hall has prepared lots of fun activities to thank their visitors for their loyalty, including two fantastic flamenco shows by Flamenco Group ‘Jaleo’ and the ‘Zambra’ Spanish Ballet.

All that singing, dancing and music wouldn’t be the same without some tasty thrist quenching  wine. And that’s just what the organisers have arranged… lots of free wine will be served to visitors throughout the afternoon!

Are you going to join in the fun at the Mijas Tourist Day?
