Taking place this Saturday at Sunset Beach Club’s Moonlight Bar is “The J Factor”! This fun filled fund raising event is being held in aid of Juliette and will also be raising public awareness of Lyell’s Syndrome. The show starts at 7pm and there will be lots of great acts to enjoy including; singing, dancing and a Rock ‘n’ Roll tribute band, all of which are followed by a radio party to dance the night away with Ace FM. Yesterday’s walkathon for Cudeca went very well! Approximately 800 people showed up to take part in the event and over 20,000€ raised for this well-deserving cause! And of course our very own Chelo, from here in the Commercial department took part!

Preparations are in place for this year’s walkathon! Every year Cudeca organise a walkathon to raise money for their charity, it is held outside Sunset Beach Club on the seafront promenade. Lets hope that 2009 has as good of a turn out as last year, even Chelo our sales manager participated, as you can see she is in the photo (highlighted by the arrow!) For more info please click here.

This Sunday is the much anticipated WOW Factor finals, being held at the Torrequebrada Casino hotel. Where the ten finalists from all along the coast will be judged by celebrity judges including Jason Gardiner from Dancing on Ice and Simon Cowell’s brother! This will be a great event and with it all being in aid of Cudeca, why not get yourself a ticket and enjoy a great night of entertainment on the Costa del Sol!

The WOW factor semi finals went down an absolute storm at Sunset Beach Club’s Moonlight Bar! The place was packed and the acts were great all for the great cause of Cudeca! Good luck to all finalists for next week’s show at Hotel Torrequebrada!

This Sunday, 11th May, sees the annual walkathon event on the Costa del Sol. Starting at 10:30am, each participant pays 10 euros and chooses either the 2km route, 5km route or 10km route, all starting from the paseo maritimo outside Sunset Beach Club. As sponsers of the event Sunset Beach Club are preparing a raffle to raise extra money for this fantastic cause, offering brilliant prizes!
