We’ve got a busy weekend of musical entertainment here at Sunset Beach Club with two fantastic shows in our Moonlight Theatre.
Both shows are in aid of local charities and we’d appreciate you helping us spread the word so that we can fill the Moonlight Theatre and raise lots of funds!

Christmas is just a few weeks away and we’re ploughing into the Christmas spirit here at Sunset Beach Club. Our decorations are up and we’ve got some great shows lined up in our Moonlight Theatre over the next couple of weeks.
Christmas is a time for giving and we are delighted to collaborate with the following shows which will contribute all proceeds to charity.
On Saturday 6th December, our resident showman, Ricky Lavazza will be presenting ‘Ricky’s Christmas Cracker’. Those of you who know Ricky, or have seen him perform, will know that he gives it all on stage and this Christmas show will be no exception. Benalmadena is getting ready to host one of the most important cultural events of its yearly calendar: Flamenco Week. Playing a key role in the promotion of the town’s Flamenco culture, the event has become one of the main tributes to this universal art in the province of Malaga.
Flamenco Week takes place from the 14th to 21st November in various different cultural and educational centres of Benalmadena. Organised by Malaga’s ‘Peña La Repompa’ in collaboration with Benalmadena Council’s Cultural Department, the main aim of the event is to pay tribute to the art of Flamenco, coinciding with the celebration, on the 16th November, of the anniversary of Flamenco being declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. This Saturday the 1st November (2014), Ricky Lavazza, one of the Costa del Sol’s most popular and highly recognized entertainers (and one of our resident performers) will be taking to the stage in our Moonlight Bar for a fabulous evening of music and entertainment in aid of the Tomas Leighton Care Charity.

Colin Fry, one of the world’s most recognised spiritualist mediums and healers will be performing at Sunset Beach Club, Benalmádena, on the 9th October 2014.
‘The Voices from Heaven’ show is the medium’s first on the Costa del Sol since 2007. Thanks to the worldwide popularity of his TV shows, this is sure to be a great success with many local residents and hotel guests attending. We’re expecting a full house on the 9th October 🙂 (more…)

All our regular guests know that every summer our entertainment team prepares fabulous shows for our guests to enjoy in the evenings. This year is no exception and the team have been rehearsing hard for several months preparing for this year’s new show: A Tribute to Grease.
If you’re a fan of the hit movie and musical, you’ll love our new show. You’ll be transported back to 1958 to enjoy the tender love story of Dany Zuko and Sandy Olsson as well as all the fun members of the cast including the T-Birds and Pink Ladies! (more…)
