For the 9th year running, our friends at Goldsoul – well established UK Soul event promoters – are coming back for a fun week of the best tunes, lots of dancing and, of course, sunshine!!!

This year’s ‘Costa del Soul’ event promises to be the best yet. After the success of last year’s extended 9 day event (It’s usually seven nights) this year Goldsoul have decided to repeat this winning formula and Costa del Soul will run from Friday 13th October to Saturday 21st October featuring some of the top DJ’s from the UK playing the greatest Soul Music Tunes throughout the day.

Soul music lovers can enjoy their daily dose of Classic Soul tunes by the hotel’s Tikki Poolside Bar whilst enjoying a cool jug of Sangria and working on their tans!

After a hard day by the pool, the fun continues in the Panorama Bar with some laid-back soul from 6 to 9 pm. This includes the ever-popular happy hour and the chance to catch up and watch the latest live Premiership or Champions League football matches. Continue Reading →

The Luna Mora Festival in Guaro: A Weekend of Music and Culture

Festival de la Luna Mora de GuaroOn the 8th and 9th September – the picturesque white village of Guaro celebrates the 21st edition of its famous ‘Luna Mora’ Festival.

As was the case last year, this year’s festivities have been reduced to two days (It’s used to be four) but they’ve still managed to put together an impressive programme of events with activities and entertainment for all the family.

Throughout the weekend, the village becomes a meeting point for traditional Andalusí music and culture. The streets come alive in the evenings with the stunning illumination of 25,000 candles strategically positioned to create a unique and magical ambiance. Fuengirola’s Great Beer Festival 2017 at the Sohail Castle

Grand Beer Festival in FuengirolaThe spectacular Sohail Castle in Fuengirola will, once again, host the city’s very own ‘Oktoberfest’: the 9th edition of its Grand Beer Festival.

This fun beer festival (Oktoberfest Olé) opens to the public from the 18th August to the 3rd September. If you’re a beer lover, this is one stop you’ll have to make during your holiday. Marquees and large tables will be set up throughout the castle grounds allowing you to sample the finest Bavarian beers and tasty dishes including German sausages, frikadellen and sauerkraut. All this accompanied by live music from a true German orchestra as well as other live music events.

The Night of San Juan is the perfect way to celebrate the arrival of the summer. All over Spain, people flock to the beaches to enjoy a magical night with bonfires, barbeques, fireworks and lots of food and drink!

Fiesta de la Bicicleta en Benalmadena Next Sunday the 23rd April, Benalmadena will host the 34th edition of its popular ‘Fiesta de la Bicicleta’ or Bicycle Party, one of the city’s oldest and most emblematic events in its busy sports calendar.

It’s not a race. The whole event is designed to be a fun family day out, fitting in perfectly with Benalmadena’s image as an idyllic destination for tourism and sports.

At the event’s press conference the mayor of Benalmadena, Victor Navas, pointed out that he and his team have made a strong commitment to promoting the city as the perfect destination for sports and tourism.
