The city of Málaga is getting ready to host the 19th edition of its International Jazz Festival which takes place from the 7th to the 13th November 2016.

This year’s programme stands out for the quality of musicians taking to the stage of the Cervantes Theatre. Spectators will be able to enjoy the music of artists such as Al Di Meola, Lee Konitz, Stanley Clarke, The Bad Plus y Gonzalo Rubalcaba.

Concerts on the Costa del Sol Summer 2016Concert season is in full swing on the Costa del Sol. Many of our guests like to know what’s going on up and down the Coast as they often like to get out and experience some of the great night life we have on offer in this wonderful part of the world and a good concert is the perfect excuse for a great night out.

Yes, we do have a great entertainment programme on site at Sunset Beach Club, with live music, tribute bands and musicals; however, sometimes even we can’t compete with the likes of Seal, Simply Red or Il Divo!

Flamenco Week in BenalmadenaBenalmadena is getting ready to host one of the most important cultural events of its yearly calendar: Flamenco Week. Playing a key role in the promotion of the town’s Flamenco culture, the event has become one of the main tributes to this universal art in the province of Malaga. 

Flamenco Week takes place from the 14th to 21st November in various different cultural and educational centres of Benalmadena. Organised by Malaga’s ‘Peña La Repompa’ in collaboration with Benalmadena Council’s Cultural Department, the main aim of the event is to pay tribute to the art of Flamenco, coinciding with the celebration, on the 16th November, of the anniversary of Flamenco being declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.  Continue Reading →

Organised by Active Sound Productions, the event features twenty artists and groups (both national and international) who will take to the stage for a crazy weekend of music and dancing making it one of the most important festivals in this genre’s musical calendar.

This Saturday the 1st November (2014), Ricky Lavazza, one of the Costa del Sol’s most popular and highly recognized entertainers (and one of our resident performers) will be taking to the stage in our Moonlight Bar for a fabulous evening of music and entertainment in aid of the Tomas Leighton Care Charity.

Summer Concerts on the Costa del Sol 2014Every summer we put together a list of the best live concerts on the Costa del Sol. We know that many of you enjoy attending live concerts whilst you are here on holiday and this guide will hopefully prove useful in identifying live performances you’d like to attend.

Last years line up of world famous artists visiting the Costa del Sol to perform their greatest hits was pretty impressive; however, this year looks to be even better. The following are just some of the big names performing during the months of July and August: Ricky Martin, The Beach Boys, Pet Shop Boys, Julio Iglesias, Chicago, Tom Jones, David Guetta… and the list goes on!

As was the case last summer, many of the top stars will be performing at the Starlite Festival, which takes place from the 23rd July to the 22nd August in Marbella’s breathtaking Nagueles quarry.

Another of the great venues this year is the Sohail Castle in Fuengirola which will see the likes of Chicago and Ian Anderson’s Jethro Tull pass through its gates.
