Málaga city centre is famous for its’ stunning Christmas lights. Hundreds of thousands of people visit the city’s Calle Larios to see the spectacular lights, and every year, we’re treated to a more impressive display!

This year is no exception with the town hall spending a whopping 573,201 Euros on the lights! This might seem like a lot but when you see the amount of people who show up at 6:30pm every day to watch the lights be switched on, you begin to understand why. Christmas in Málaga [Photo Essay]

I love heading in to the centre of Málaga with the family and taking a leisurely stroll around the city’s centre and the new ‘Muelle Uno’ waterfront. Although a little cooler in the winter months, it still makes for a fantastic afternoon out! A few days ago we took a drive in to Málaga to experience the impressive and, now famous, Christmas light display and enjoy a quiet drink on the waterfront.
