As many of you know, for the last 10 years we’ve welcomed GoldSoul for their week-long Costa del Soul events. These usually take place at the end of October, and are, undeniably, the top soul music events on the Costa del Sol.

Building on the success of their autumn Costa del Soul holidays, GoldSoul recently added a new event to their calendar: a 5-day Soul and Motown Break!

The Rockin’ Race Jamboree: A 50’s Music Festival in Torremolinos

Poster for Rockin Race Jamboree in TorremolinosThursday 1st February 2018 sees the start of another edition of the Rockin’ Race Jamboree music festival in Torremolinos. This is the event’s 24th anniversary and will attract thousands of visitors from all over the world eager to enjoy a fun packed long weekend (1st, 2nd,3rd & 4th February) to the sounds of their favourite musical genre: music with American roots from the 50’s.

This year’s festival features  some of the world’s top artists exclusively for the event! There are approximately 28 artists and bands playing during the 4-day event, including:

For the 9th year running, our friends at Goldsoul – well established UK Soul event promoters – are coming back for a fun week of the best tunes, lots of dancing and, of course, sunshine!!!

This year’s ‘Costa del Soul’ event promises to be the best yet. After the success of last year’s extended 9 day event (It’s usually seven nights) this year Goldsoul have decided to repeat this winning formula and Costa del Soul will run from Friday 13th October to Saturday 21st October featuring some of the top DJ’s from the UK playing the greatest Soul Music Tunes throughout the day.

Soul music lovers can enjoy their daily dose of Classic Soul tunes by the hotel’s Tikki Poolside Bar whilst enjoying a cool jug of Sangria and working on their tans!

The Luna Mora Festival in Guaro: A Weekend of Music and Culture

Festival de la Luna Mora de GuaroOn the 8th and 9th September – the picturesque white village of Guaro celebrates the 21st edition of its famous ‘Luna Mora’ Festival.

As was the case last year, this year’s festivities have been reduced to two days (It’s used to be four) but they’ve still managed to put together an impressive programme of events with activities and entertainment for all the family.

Throughout the weekend, the village becomes a meeting point for traditional Andalusí music and culture. The streets come alive in the evenings with the stunning illumination of 25,000 candles strategically positioned to create a unique and magical ambiance. Flamenco Week in BenalmadenaBenalmadena is getting ready to host one of the most important cultural events of its yearly calendar: Flamenco Week. Playing a key role in the promotion of the town’s Flamenco culture, the event has become one of the main tributes to this universal art in the province of Malaga. 

Flamenco Week takes place from the 14th to 21st November in various different cultural and educational centres of Benalmadena.
