Q. What is the maximum capacity of our apartment?
A. Nearly all or our hotel apartments have a separate bedroom with twin beds and a large 2m sofa bed in the lounge. Maximum capacity allowed is for 4 persons (we recommend these be 2 adults plus 2 children, or 3 adults).

Q. What kind of temperature can we expect?
A. The Costa del Sol boasts some of the best weather in Europe, with an average year round maximum temperature of 23ºC and 322 days of sunshine a year! Daytime temperatures of 20ºC is quite common in the Winter months, with most rainfall occurring between January and March. More Weather info.

Q. Our flight arrives at 11:00 a.m., but check-in is not until 5:00 p.m. What can we do?
A. No problem! Sunset Beach Club offers a complimentary luggage storage facility, where you can leave your suitcases. Make sure your swimwear and a dry set of clothes are easy to hand, as you may continue to use the pool and changing facilities until it is time to check-in. You could have a nice long lunch in one of our bars and restaurants , or buy a snack from our supermarket to take to the beach. You could also pre-book a local excursion, a beauty treatment or a game of golf - our Leisure Desk is on hand to give you plenty of ideas on where to go for a couple of hours!

Q. We have to check-out at 12:00 p.m., but our flight isn’t until the evening. What can we do?
A. See above!

Q. I am travelling with a young child/baby. Do I need to bring disposable nappies/powdered milk/baby food etc, or can I find these items locally?
A. Our hotel supermarket sells some of these items, and there are shopping centres and hipermarkets just a few minutes from the resort. If you are looking for a specific brand, however, it may be wise to bring your own supplies.

Q. Do you allow pets at Sunset Beach Club?
A. No. Unfortunately pets are not allowed in the apartments nor common areas of the resort, although there are several nearby centres where you can leave them (at a fee).

Q. We are planning on having a very relaxing holiday and do not want to hire a car. How can we get to our resort from the airport?
A. All taxi services from the airport are provided by the same association and will cost you around €25 (excluding extras such as late night service or heavy luggage). Beware of unauthorised taxi offers in the arrivals hall, and go to the official taxi rank outside. Print off directions to Sunset Beach Club in Spanish for your taxi driver, and you can also print a copy for yourself in English.

Q. Is there any car parking at the hotel?
A. We have a covered car park within the hotel, for just €12 per day, or €72 per week. Car parking spaces cannot be reserved in advance, and are subject to availability at time of check-in.

Q. Can we organize car rental, green fees and/or excursions on site?
A. Indeed you can! We offer favourable green fee rates at over 20 local courses, and excellent rates at our sister resort, La Cala Golf, as well as competitive car hire rates, and reduced entry price for several local attractions. Q. Do you organize a courtesy bus from the airport?
A. Unfortunately this service is not possible.  If you are travelling in a group, we will be pleased to assist you with booking coach transfers if required. Taxis are readily available at the airport, or you can also book a private transfer - see the Airport Transfers link on our Location page.

Q. Is there are shop on site?
A. Yes. We have a very well stocked food supermarket, which also sells holiday basics and gifts…..and freshly baked bread and pastries from our own bakery! There is also a jewellery and handbag gift shop on the first floor, and a clothing and accessories shop.

Q. Can we use credit cards at the resort and in the hotel venues?
A. Yes, major credit cards are accepted.

Q. Are there any safe facilities on site?
A. In-room safes are available for a daily or weekly fee. Please note that we advise not to travel with large amounts of cash or valuable jewellery.

Q. Where can we check our Email?
A. Complimentary Wi-Fi internet connectivity is available in the reception area and public areas of Sunset Beach Club (don’t forget your laptop!). Computer kiosks with internet are available on several floors (fee payable).

Q. Do you offer any animation or on-site Entertainment?
A. Sunset Beach Club is SYNONYMOUS with FUN and ENTERTAINMENT for ALL! Our year round team of animators (up to 12 in high season) will ensure that you get the most out of your holidays – from aerobics by the pool to flamenco dancing classes or cookery demonstrations! Daily live entertainment is ongoing, with up to 3 different options per night in the high season. The Panorama Bar is the ideal meeting place at Happy Hour, or for a night-cap, or enjoy our highly successful shows in The Moonlight…..Check out our Leisure and Entertainment section!

Q. Do you offer room service?
A. Unfortunately we are unable to provide such a service, although we do have a take away service from the Oasis Restaurant.  Furthermore, all apartments have a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, and you can purchase supplies at our supermarket and fresh bakery which are open daily.

Q. Are medical facilities available at the hotel?
A. Sunset Beach Club has an on-site medical centre in Reception, and guests may be attended to in their apartment in certain conditions. Any serious cases are referred to Clinica Salus, a modern and efficient private hospital, located in nearby Benalmádena. Clinica Salus collaborates with most international insurance companies.

Q. Do you offer ironing facilities?
A. All apartments are equipped with an ironing board and iron.

Q. Do we need an electricity converter or adaptor?
A. The electricity outlets in the apartments are European style (2 round holes) 220V. If travelling from the UK or outside Europe your may need to bring an adaptor and/or a converter.

A. Yes, all apartments have a hairdryer.

Q. Are beach towels provided?
A. beach towels are not provided in the apartments, you can rent towels from the leisure desk (1.60€ per day + deposit).
