Sample Summer Activities and Entertainment 2010

The Moonlight Cabaret Theatre is located on the fifth floor of Sunset Beach Club, and is a unique event venue in Benalmádena Costa, bringing live professional entertainment to both hotel guests and local residents. 

During the Summer not only  do we host free mini-discos, cabaret entertainment, and discos, with full bar service open until late,  but  also for Summer 2010 The Moonlight Bar will become one of the best venues on the coast for watching the World Cup! With a brand new 3m screen, 2 bars, air conditioning, face painting and competitions on selected matches as well as an unbeatable atmosphere, The Moonlight Bar is the perfect place for all ages support your country!

During the Autumn and Winter months, we contineue to host occasional entertainment and muscic events such as the Annual Blues Festival and local bands.

A Tribute to Moulin Rouge
Summer 2010
This Summer season our hotel entertainment team are proud to present "A Tribute to Moulin Rouge." Being performed from May through to mid September this classic musical has plenty of singing and dancing to keep the whole family entertained!

Ricky Lavazza
Summer 2010
Ricky Lavazza is a born entertainer who has already proved incredibly popular in the Oasis Restaurant. This Summer he will take centre stage once a week in the Moonlight Bar and perform his incredible tribute to many of your favourites including Tom Jones, Robbie Williams and Michael Buble, not to mention his outstanding Elvis act complete with sparkling jumpsuit! Entrance to this show is free.

A tribute to Westlife
Summer 2010
After a successful year in 2009, the Westlife Tribute Act have proved to be a favourite here at Sunset Beach Club and will be continuing to please the crowds throughout this Summer. The boys have earnt themselves a fantastic reputationall along the coast with their tribute to Westlife, these four young English vocalists take to the stage in our Moonlight Bar every Sunday night. Entrance to the show is free and doors open at 10pm.

Urban Magic
Summer 2010
Urban magic is an extraordinary magic show newly introduced in 2010. The show has proved very popular throughout the winter season and is a great night of entertainment that can be enjoyed by the whole family. Set to continue in it's weekly slot throughout the Summer months, make sure you don't miss this night of incredible illusions and terrific tricks, now with free entrance!

A tribute to High School Musical
Summer 2009
Fantastic fun for all the family and a favourite with the kids, this musical tribute has been created by our very own entertainment team. Complete with costumes, brilliant dance routines and plenty of songs the show is guaranteed to have you joining in and singing along in seconds! You can catch this superb tribute to High School Musical every Tuesday night, entrance is free and doors open at 10pm.

III Blues Festival at Sunset Beach Club

Viva Las Vegas
Summer 2009
The Costa del Sol's favourite, Jonny G brings Viva Las Vegas to the Moonlight bar, every Wednesday from mid May onwards. This superb show will leave you star struck after incredible tributes to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and of course the king himself, Elvis! Doors open at 10pm and entrance to this show is free. 

Costa del Soul

The Cherry Boppers at Sunset Beach Club

Summer 2009
Every Saturday night our Moonlight Bar is delighted to present BabyPhat! Laura, Jake and Lexy are three local and very gifted musicians whose show is comprised of both touching ballads and modern songs including tributes to Black Eyed Peas, Anastasia, Alicia Keys and Robbie Williams along with many others. Entrance to this show is free and doors open at 10pm.

A colourful tribute to this well known hit musical.  Performed by our very own entertainment team, led by Rocio, fancy hairdos, bright outfits and stunning song and dance routines made this one of our most popular live shows in Summer 2008.

Undoubtably the most popular show of Summer 2008, Beauty and the Beast ended to standing ovations after every performance!  Kids are enthralled by this fantastic play, and can't take their eyes off the stage.  A great evening at the Moonlight for all the family!

A mesmerizing performance!
