Civil Marriages
Unless you have an address in Spain and are registered as resident here, it is not possible to have a civil ceremony. Most couples therefore would usually opt to have a civil ceremony in advance at home or in Gibraltar, followed by a blessing here in Spain.

	You could also choose to have a civil ceremony in Gibraltar followed by your reception here in Benalmadena on the same day. Gibraltar is just over an hour away from Benalmadena and there you are able to have your civil ceremony in a variety of locations from the registry office to the beautiful botanic gardens.
