Meet our Wedding Coordinator  | Claire Mitchell has worked at Sunset Beach Club for fifteen years, during which time she has gained valuable experience in all aspects of our service and facilities, as well as first hand client contact and management. She is now responsible for the coordination of weddings, groups and special events. Claire will be your first point of contact at Sunset Beach Club and will make sure that you receive all the information you need regarding your possible wedding on the Costa del Sol.

Once you have decided that Sunset Beach Club is the likely venue for your celebration, made a provisional booking and paid a deposit, Claire will invite you to stay with us to personally meet you and show you around our facilities, to sample your wedding menu, to meet with our wedding planner and to discuss all aspects of your wedding reception.
Claire will also assist in the coordination of accommodation and any extra entertainment or services which your guests may require during their stay on the Costa del Sol.

Meet our Wedding Planners
As well as organizing all the important details in the period running up to your wedding day, your wedding planner will be on hand throughout the day itself, to ensure that all runs smoothly, leaving the Bride and Groom to enjoy their Special Day. We work with several local wedding planners, and your wedding planner will always be available by phone or email, either directly or via Claire.
Kerry Vear-Smyth
Kerry has over 6 years experience organizing overseas weddings for UK and Irish clients. Fluent in Spanish, she is now based back "home" in the town where she grew up near Málaga. With over 100 couples successfully married, including several at Sunset Beach Club, she certainly has the experience to ensure that your day runs perfectly.

Sue Danker
Sue is originally from Dublin, and now lives full time in Spain with her family. Following fourteen years as a major event and conference organizer based in Dublin, and due to phenomenal demand from Irish customers wishing to get married in Spain, Sue has recently changed her career, and now dedicates her time solely to organizing Spanish weddings on the Costa del Sol. Sue has excellent knowledge of the area and will cater for any special requests a couple may have.

Preparations
Before your wedding day, we can assist with event invitations, recommend airlines and coordinate transportation for you and your guests. We can also help you plan your colour scheme, wedding menus, table flowers and wedding favours, always working with suppliers to ensure you get the best possible deal. We also block-book hotel rooms and car-hire in advance for your guests, to confirm at a later date. Activities and excursions can also be reserved in advance to help you and your guests make the most of your stay on the Costa del Sol.
Our Wedding Planner is always at the end of the phone or by email, to answer any questions you and your guests may have.

On Your Special Day
Our hotel Hair & Beauty Salon will take care of all hair and make-up requirements of the bride and her maids. Ruth Hopper (previously of Peter Marks, Ireland) and her team of hair stylists are here at Sunset Beach Club to make sure that you look and feel a million dollars on your wedding day, and also offer a practise hair-up and make-up service.
We can arrange for transportation for your your guests, if required, to your chosen venue, and a pre-booked photographer will record every aspect of your wedding day. The Sunset Beach Club Wedding Planner will be on hand throughout the day, to ensure that all runs smoothly, leaving the Bride and Groom to enjoy their Special Day here in Benalmadena.

Your Wedding Reception
Sunset Beach Club offers a choice of venues for your Wedding Reception, either al-fresco or in a dining room with stunning sea views. Your menu can be as simple or extravagant as you wish. A simple buffet or sumptuous menu can be prepared by our excellent team of chefs, and presented with flair and imagination. Later, dancing to live music or DJs will keep you and your guests entertained for the rest of the evening, and often well into the early hours! Click here to view our Sample Wedding Menus

Luxury Bridal Suite
On the wedding night, the bride and groom will be upgraded to our luxurious Bridal Suite, where we will cater to their every whim!

Complete Wedding Service
You will have the option of
having your own Wedding Web Page for your guests to visit, both before
and after the event, providing useful information about your big day,
such as schedule of events and gift lists. We can also arrange for
photographs to be placed on your Wedding Web Page after the event, for
guests to view and download.
