Weddings in Spain FAQ
Sunset Beach Club is pleased to answer some of your most frequently asked questions about wedding ceremonies and getting married here in Spain.
-
Can I have a ceremony in Spain that is not legally binding?
Yes! Blessings are available in Benalmadena at Sunset Beach Club. This can be done on the beachfront boulevard, a similar ceremony as what you would expect from a church, but not legally binding.
-
Can I have a ceremony in Gibraltar but have my wedding reception in Spain?
Yes! You might have an earlier start than if you have your ceremony in Spain, but with Gibraltar just about an hour away from Benalmadena, couples often choose to have their English civil ceremony in Gibraltar and then their wedding reception in Spain.
-
Are there wedding planners that can help me with my plans of getting married abroad?
Yes! You don’t need to have the worry and stress of trying to plan your celebration in a foreign language! Sunset Beach Club offer the services of both an experienced, onsite wedding co-ordinator and an extremely helpful wedding planner, between them they can plan your wedding with you every step of the way and help you with any questions or worries you may have.
-
Does the amount of guests attending my wedding matter?
Many wedding reception venues allow you to have as many or as few guests as you wish! Sunset Beach Club has had wedding groups as small as just the bride and grooms themselves, so if your looking for a romantic wedding escape, just the two of you, or if your guest list is into triple figures there is no problem either way!
