there are many interesting places to visit and things to do within easy
reach of the hotel. Here are a few ideas of what is on offer, mostly
just a short drive or taxi ride away.

Tivoli World
Tivoli World, the Costa del Sol's largest tourist attraction is located right here in Benalmadena, just a couple of minutes from Sunset Beach Club. Here you will be treated to dare-devil rides, combined with live entertainment, professional shows and plenty of refreshment stops! There is also a special adventure area for younger children.

Casino
The Costa del Sol's first casino is only a few hundred metres from Sunset Beach Club, at the five star Torrequebrada Hotel. Dress code is formal, and you will need to take identification with you to enter the casino.

Benalmadena Cable Car
Just a few minutes from Sunset Beach Club, you will find the Benalmadena Cable Car, which offers you the chance to see the coast from a different angle, and enjoy spectacular views of the Costa del Sol, and even the snow tipped mountains of Sierra Nevada and the silhouette of Africa on a clear day. At the summit, you can take a donkey ride through the countryside, see a dancing horse exhibition and watch a birds of prey show. An entertaining and educational day out for the whole family.

Aquaparks
Sunset Beach Club has two major Aquaparks (Torremolinos and Mijas) only a few minutes away by car. With a large range of rides and pools, there is something for all age groups - from steep shutes for brave teenagers, to gentle wave pools for toddlers.

Fuengirola Zoo
A fabulous day out for all the family, this "open-plan" zoo offers visitors the chance to see tigers, crocodiles, monkeys, baboons, hippopotamii, exotic birds and reptiles at close proximity - often with only glass between you and them! There are refreshment areas and an adventure area for children. Also open for nocturnal visits in July and August.

Selwo Marina
During your stay at Sunset Beach Club why not spend a day at Selwo Marina, located within The Paloma Park, just 5 minutes from the hotel, here you can discover all kinds of marine life. Selwo holds Andalucia’s only dolphinarium and ice penguinarium, with exclusive dolphin, sea lion and exotic bird shows.

Quad Biking

Scuba Sunset Style
Why not take advantage of stayin so close to the ocean and discover the underwater world of the mediterranean! On the doorstep of Sunset Beach Club is a PADI Centre, one of the longest running organizations in the area. Renowned for quality customer service, there are courses available for all abilities from beginner to professional.

AquaVista
AquaVista is a tour boat on the Costa del sol with submarine vision offering the opportunity to see both dolphins and fish in their natural habitat. Leaving from Fuengirola Port, just ten minutes away from Sunset Beach Club it is a trip that can be enjoyed by all age groups.

Paloma Park
Located in the Heart of Benalmadena, just a two minute walk from Sunset Beach Club, Paloma Park offers a relaxing day out for all the family, complete with cafes and picnic areas. There is a lake in the centre of the park with a large water feature giving the area a fresh atmosphere. Also don’t be surprised if during your visit you bump into the odd chicken, rabbit or even turtle!

Donkey Sanctuary
Located 40 minutes from Malaga and also known as El Refugio del Burrito, the donkey sanctuary makes for the perfect way to discover beautiful Spanish countryside whilst enjoying a fun and interesting visit that will also help the donkeys. Entrance is free to both the donkey sanctuary and the nearby flamingo lake.

Crocodile Park
If you fancy the opportunity to hold a live crocodile then this is the place for you! Complete with baby croc nursery, largest croc in Europe, African fortress and live demonstrations. This is a fascinating day trip to be enjoyed by all.

Costasol Cruceros
Boat trips from Fuengirola to Benalmadena and Benalmadena to Fuengirola. This submarine vision boat is a great way to travel from port to port, much more original than a taxi and cheaper! The journey lasts approximately 1 hour, giving you the opportunity to sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery.

Selwo Aventura
Selwo Aventura is a unique park in Europe, where nature, animals, adventure & fun all combine to create a fascinating experience. Located in Estepona, Selwo Aventura is easily accessible by bus and approximately 40 minutes from Sunset Beach Club.

City Sightseeing
With twelve stops, one at each main attraction offered by Benalmadena, City Sightseeing offers a unique tour of the town. Tickets are valid for 24hours, so you can use them more than once! Whether you’re going to Tivoli or for a wander around Paloma Park, this is a great way to get about!

Picasso Museum
Thanks to donations of Picasso’s loved ones we now have the opportunity to discover and experience some of Pablo Picasso’s masterpieces in his hometown of Malaga, just a stones throw from Benalmadena!

El Ranchito
The opportunity to discover Feria del Sur, a spectacular equestrian show, dinner and flamenco, or just the equestrian show. This is a great option for an evening out, as it is located nearby in Torremolinos and also includes hotel transfers.

Sailing
Staying so near to the see it would almost be rude not to travel upon it! Sailing excursions can be arranged from most of the ports here on the coast, Benalmadena, Fuengirola or Marbella. Dawn Approach for example offer different packages suiting your wishes.

A day on the ocean
Leaving from Marbella port you can either opt for a three hour trip or a five hour trip including water sports and beach barbeque. So if you want to spend a day in luxury then this is the choice for you, enjoy views of the golden mile while soaking up the sun on the catamaran’s enormous solarium.

Mijas Diamond & Jewellery Centre
The opportunity to uptake the free excursion to the beautiful white-washed village of Mijas. The trip to the enchanting village accompanied with the tour of the Jewellery & Diamond centre is the perfect combination.

For a fascinating day out Nerja Caves are most definitely a brilliant choice. Situated 35 minutes past Malaga in an Easterly direction, Nerja offers caves which are perfectly situated in the picturesque surroundings of typical Mediterranean villages, full of the unique beauty of Andalucia.
