Ronda RománticaMore than 20,000 people descended upon the beautiful city of Ronda this weekend to celebrate the 3rd edition of Ronda Romántica, the city’s May Fair which offers a fascinating look at its history and traditions.

During the three day festivities, locals and visitors were taken on a voyage of discovery to 19th century Spain, a time of bandits, muleteers and romantic travellers. (more…)

Fuengirola – Feria de los Pueblos

Every year, during the month of April, The “Feria de los Pueblos” comes to Fuengirola for one week and brings the main feria ground to life with cosmopolitan ambiance and fantastic atmosphere. The feria ground is easily accessible, located between the the main train station of Fuengirola and that of Los Boliches, meaning the festival attracts many visitors from all over Andalucia. This special event offers the opportunity to taste and sample the traditional food and drink of various countries including; Ireland, Germany, Cuba, France, Italy, Mexico, Sweden and many more! Each country has it’s own tent with themed music and decoration, a visit to the “Feria de los Pueblos” allows you to “travel the World” in just a couple of hours! The fair is taking place this week until Sunday evening.

Estepona’s Over 50’s!

This weekend saw another successful Over 50’s Show in Estepona. For the third year running the Palacio de Congresos was filled with a mixture of nationalities, most visiting from the local area, but some from all over the Costa del Sol. There was a high participation of local exhibitors including hospitals, banks, estate agents, excursion agencies and much more. A great weekend for anyone who attended or exhibited!

Senior Times Over 50’s Show Dublin

Chelo, our sales manager arrived in Dublin yesterday and today is attending the Senior Times’ Over 50 show at the RDS centre, representing Sunset Beach Club! She will be there all weekend and is sharing a stand with the Andalucian Tourist board, so if you are in the area pop in and say hi!
