Benalmadena Pueblo Hosts its Exotic Annual Arabian Market

From Thursday 24th August to Sunday 27th August 2023, Benalmádena Pueblo (the old town) will host the latest edition of its Arabian Market (Zoco), an event that once again returns to the town’s summer cultural programme. 

The Arab Market will take place in the following locations throughout the town: Plaza de las Tres Culturas, Plaza de España; in Calle Real and in the ‘Jardines del Muro’. Aimed to promote the town’s beauty and charm, the town hall hopes this unique event will again attract tourists from all over the Coast.

During the months of July and August, Benalmadena town hall has once again organized a special programme called “Cultura en la Calle” (Culture in the streets), an impressive selection of free cultural shows in different locations around the municipality (Benalmadena Pueblo, Arroyo de la Miel and Benalmadena Costa) You’ll be able to enjoy entertainment in the following locations: Plaza Adolfo Suárez (Pueblosol), Paloma Park, Plaza de Andalucía, Plaza de Alguacil, Calle Las Flores and the area in front of Bil-Bil Castle (just a few minutes walk from Sunset Beach Club).

‘La Noche en Blanco’ in Malaga: A Cultural Festival with 143 Free Activities

‘La Noche en Blanco’ (translated it means Sleepless Night) has established itself as one of Málaga city’s most important cultural events. On Saturday 20th May 2023 – from 7:00 pm to 01:00 am – all who visit the Costa del Sol’s capital will be treated to a fantastic selection of free cultural activities

This year’s event will feature 143 different activities and spread out over more than 68 different locations throughout the city. All the activities are grouped into different categories and themes:

The Benalmádena City Council has just presented ‘Verano en Benalmádena 2020) (Summer in Benalmádena 2020)’, a series of cultural events for July and August that Benalmadena residents and all visitors can enjoy.

This program aims to support the local cultural industry, betting on the talent of local artists who, like many, have been going through a hard time since the state of alarm was declared.
