At the start of the year, we told you about the new project launched by the Costa del Sol Tourism Board where they offer visitors a unique perspective of our beautiful destination through the use of 360º images and videos.
Now, after the success of this first phase of this ambitious project, they have just launched their new Golf 360º Tool which will offer a new and unique way to view the coast’s ample selection of golf courses which lovers of the sport can enjoy whilst holidaying on our ‘Costa del Golf’ 🙂 (more…)

Many golfers still prefer to walk a golf course rather than whiz around in a buggy.
Here on the Costa del Sol we are fortunate to have a wonderful and varied choice of golf courses to play. Some require a buggy as they are located in and around the hills overlooking the coast, others are walking-friendly and are perfect for those of you who prefer to carry (or pull) your golf bag around 18 holes.
Many of our guests at Sunset Beach Club are keen golfers so we thought we’d put together a quick list of our favourite courses which don’t require a buggy. At the end of the post we’ve embedded a map which shows where each of the courses is located. 🙂 (more…)

Golf season is in full swing (excuse the pun) here on the Costa del Sol and at Sunset Beach Club, we’re fortunate to have a steady stream of golfers booked in to our hotel. That being said, we have to keep promoting our wonderful destination so this Thursday, Annemie – from our Golf Desk – will be flying up to Edinburgh for this year’s Scottish Golf Show.
We’re regular exhibitors at this popular golf show and this year is no exception. Annemie will be on stand nº B7 and will be delighted to answer any questions or queries visitors may have about our hotel and golf on the Costa del Sol. Golfer ‘surfing’ down the fairway
Golf is a fun and relaxing sport; however, an amazing new invention could revolutionise the sport, especially amongst younger players. Introducing the new GolfBoard, a fun and speedy new way to get around the golf course!

Annemie from our Golf & Leisure desk packed her bags and jetted off to Ireland today as she will be joining the Turespaña (Spanish Tourism Board) stand at the Irish Open at the weekend.
The event takes place at the Killarney Golf Club, Killarney, County Kerry this weekend (29th July – 1st August) with many of the top names in European Golf taking part. If you’re planning on heading to Killarney to watch the golf, please stop by the Turespaña stand and say Hi to Annemie…..
