Today and tomorrow (Friday) there will be qualification heats in the morning (10:00am) in order to choose pairs for the finals which will be held in the evening at the Palacio de San Miguel. Entrance to the heats is free and the evening finals require an entrance fee of \u20ac5.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the whole of this week, spectators have been dazzled by dancers from all over Europe performing a wide variety of dance styles: Waltz, tango, paso doble, artistic dance, chachach\u00e1, rock and more\u2026..<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tonight (Thursday)<\/strong>, dance enthusiasts will be able to enjoy the following dance finals:<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spanish Championship Combined      Dance final of waltz, tango, and paso doble (Various categories).<\/li>\n<li>Paso doble European      Championship Final (6 categories).<\/li>\n<li>Chachach\u00e1 European Championship      final for over 50\u2019s and 30 to 50 year olds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Friday 4<sup>th<\/sup> March<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grand Final of the XXII European      Dance Championship in the combined modality of waltz, tango and paso doble      (3 categories).<\/li>\n<li>Chachach\u00e1 European Championship      final (3 categories for under 30\u2019s).<\/li>\n<li>Final of the Salsa Championship      (5 categories).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Saturday 5<sup>th<\/sup> March <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Saturday will be the last day of the championships with the following dance finals:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spanish Championship Combined      Dance final of waltz, tango, and paso doble (3 categories).<\/li>\n<li>Rock European Championship      finals (4 categories)<\/li>\n<li>Dance group European      Championship finals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We should also point out that there will be various exhibitions throughout the week carried out by different ballets and dance groups, amongst them, the Ballet Internacional Seducci\u00f3n (performing at the Sala Fortuna in Benalm\u00e1dena at the moment); Pol Chamorro and Emi Clement from the hit TV show \u201cMira quien Baila\u201d (Dancing with the Stars) and a performance by the finalists of this years \u201cFama, a Bailar\u201d (Fame) TV show, Nacho and M\u00aa Carmen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tweet This week, Torremolinos has become the European dance capital by hosting the XXII edition of the European Dance Championships.
