For the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> year running, the Town hall\u2019s tourism office together with the Benalmadena Port Authority have organised this popular event with the aim of promoting the towns extensive gastronomic offering.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the 4 days of the festival, anyone who visits the Port can sample some of the best shellfish at spectacular prices. Just to give you an idea, these are the prices of some of the portions \u2013 or \u201craciones\u201d as we refer to them here \u2013<\/p>\n<p>Boiled Prawns &#8211; \u20ac3<\/p>\n<p>\u201cConcha Fina\u201d (a type of clam) &#8211; \u20ac3<\/p>\n<p>Grilled Prawns &#8211; \u20ac8<\/p>\n<p>Steamed Mussels &#8211; \u20ac3<\/p>\n<p>Clams &#8211; \u20ac5<\/p>\n<p>This is just a sample of the delicacies that you\u2019ll be able to try; the restaurants that are taking part in the festival are planning to offer more than 20 different types of shellfish and dishes whose main ingredient is shellfish.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone wanting to enjoy some of the best shellfish at \u201crecession\u201d prices can do so as from Thursday at the following participating restaurants in the Marina: El Arrecife, Carretero, El Trasmallo, Alborada, Calamar, Ventorillo La Perra, El Rinc\u00f3n Asturiano, El Faro, La Taberna Marinera de Juan y Pepi, Los Mellizos y El Mero.<\/p>\n<p>So what do you think, are you up for it?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tweet From this Thursday \u2013 17th March \u2013 and until Sunday, visitors to Benalmadena Marina will be able to enjoy the 3rd \u201cFeria del Marisco (Shellfish Festival).
