For two weekends running, visitors to the town will be treated to the best of andalus\u00ed culture: Music, dance, workshops, street performers, a Moorish market and 20,000 candles which light up the town are just some of the treats you can expect when you visit this popular festival.<\/p>\n<p>The towns main auditorium will liven up the Guaro evenings with a selection of concerts by renown Spanish singers: Miguel Poveda, Vanesa Mart\u00edn (accompanied by the M\u00e1laga symphonic orchestra), M\u00f3nica Naranjo and local sensation, Pablo Albor\u00e1n will all be delighting the crowds with their music.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Workshops and Activities<\/h3>\n<p>Throughout the 4 days of the Festival, adults and children will have the chance to participate in a series of specially designed workshops which will take place inside a large \u201cJaima\u201d Arab tent. This is a small sample of the workshops taking place:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Painting with candles<\/li>\n<li>Percussion workshop for adults where they will learn to play the basic rhythms of the Arab and Andalucian cultures<\/li>\n<li>Children\u2019s Puzzle workshop<\/li>\n<li>Children\u2019s natural henna workshop<\/li>\n<li>Oriental Dance workshops<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Moorish market is another venue visitors shouldn\u2019t miss. Opening at 5pm each day of the Festival, it is an impressive display where artisans from all over the world show off their talents and skills.
