\"San<\/a>We\u2019re nearing the end of the \u201cFeria\u201d (Local Festivities) season. One of the last few big fairs on the calendar is the Feria de San Miguel in our neighbouring town of Torremolinos.<\/p>\n

As from tomorrow, 28th<\/sup> September and until Sunday 2nd<\/sup> October, visitors to Torremolinos will be able to enjoy five days of festivities with music, dancing, processions, fun fair, food, drink and loads more\u2026<\/p>\n

The official programme for the \u201cFeria\u201d is quite long and exhaustive so we\u2019ve had a look and condensed it to the following list of events and entertainment that we thought might be of interest:<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Taste some FREE Paella in the \u201cLa Tasca\u201d Bar,Federiaco Garc\u00eda Lorca Squarefrom 1pm to 7pm<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Listen to traditional \u201cCoros Rocieros\u201d (traditional Spanish choirs) every day in the centre of town between 2pm and 4pm<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Children\u2019s entertainment every evening in the \u201cCaseta Minicipal Infantil\u201d at the main fair ground \u2013 Theatre, Magician and more\u2026 starts at 10pm<\/p>\n

4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Opening ceremony with street performers \u2013 Wednesday 28th<\/sup> September at 8.15pm in the Town Centre<\/p>\n

5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Performance by the Roc\u00edo Chac\u00f3n Flamenco Group, \u201cEnsue\u00f1o\u201d<\/p>\n

6)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Large procession in the San Miguel square \u2013 Thursday 29th<\/sup> September at 7pm<\/p>\n

7)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Live music every night in the \u201cCaseta dela Juventud\u201d \u2013 Various styles such as Rock, Pop, Rap and Hip-Hop<\/p>\n

8)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Bull Fighting in the Torremolinos Bullring on Sunday 2nd<\/sup> October at 6pm<\/p>\n

As well as the above, there is also a Fun Fair every evening at the Fair Ground. A quick word of advice: If you fancy trying some of the rides at the fair of if you are planning on going with kids, make sure you go on Sunday (2nd<\/sup> October) as the price of the rides is reduced (substantially!) Children pay \u20ac1.50 per ride and adults pay \u20ac2 per ride!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
