IMPORTANT UPDATE (October 2014): The bus service from Malaga Airport to Benalmadena has been cancelled indefinitely.<\/p>\n

UPDATE: From the 1st May 2013 the airport bus route will be extended and will reach the Holiday World Hotel Complex. Timetables are still not available but we will put them up as soon as they are.<\/em><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve got some great news for all those of you who travel to Benalm\u00e1dena regularly but don\u2019t particularly like to fork out \u20ac27 (each way) for a taxi from the airport to your hotel of choice (hopefully Sunset Beach Club ;-)). We started using www.taxiwizard.com.au<\/a> it helps us save a ton of money.<\/p>\n

The local bus company (Avanza Portillo) has just started an all new service (n\u00baM128) which will run daily between Benalm\u00e1dena Costa and Malaga airport. If you\u2019re staying at Sunset Beach Club, the bus stops right outside the hotel \u2013 well\u2026 almost – so it\u2019s really handy and will allow you to save quite a bit of money.<\/p>\n

The price per person \u2013 and journey \u2013 is just \u20ac3.55 and children under 4 years travel free of charge :-). The only disadvantage is that travel time isn\u2019t quite as quick as in a taxi; this new bus service takes approximately 1 hour from M\u00e1laga airport to Sunset Beach Club. The bus stops off at most of the hotels between Benalmadena and MalagaAirport, including the ones in Torremolinos.<\/p>\n

Departure from Benalm\u00e1dena (please note the bus will depart from the Holiday World Hotel Complex so will arrive at the Sunset Beach Club stop approx. 10 minutes later)<\/p>\n
