\"Feria<\/a>Next week sees the start of Torremolino\u2019s yearly festivities with the \u2018Feria de San Miguel\u2019. The Town Hall has once again prepared a full and varied programme of events and activities aimed at all age groups. Young children, teenagersm adults and pensioners are all catered for during the \u2018Feria\u2019.<\/p>\n

Officially the fair starts on Wednesday the 26th<\/sup> September and ends on Sunday the 30th<\/sup> September; however, the celebrations start on Sunday the 23rd<\/sup> September with the traditional \u2018Romer\u00eda de San Miguel\u2019.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a link to the official programme for the Torremolinos Fair<\/a>. <\/span>As it\u2019s pretty detailed, we\u2019ve put together a list of 11 of the most interesting events and activities taking place during the \u2018Feria\u2019\u2026 here goes:<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Classic cars concentration in the Plaza Blas Infante on Saturday 22nd<\/sup> September at 9:30 am.<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Romeria de San Miguel at 10 am on Sunday 23rd<\/sup> September. 69 Carts and carriages will take place in this traditional procession which will start at the Los Palacios Urbanisation and finish up at the \u2018Pinar de los Manantiales\u2019 area of Torremolinos.<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mass in honour of San Miguel Arc\u00e1ngel in the San Miguel chapel at 5pm on the 23rd<\/sup> September.<\/p>\n

4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Its free \u2018Callos\u2019 and \u2018Paella\u2019 as from 1:30pm (26th<\/sup> September) in the Plaza de Andaluc\u00eda and Plaza R\u00edo Aguasvivas. Great opportunity to try these typical Spanish dishes.<\/p>\n

5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 At 8:15pm on the 26th<\/sup> September there will be a parade of street performers which will start at Plaza San Miguel and end in the fair ground.<\/p>\n

6)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 At 10:00pm on the same day, the mayor will officially open the officially switching on the fair lights at the main Fair Ground.<\/p>\n

7)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 From 2pm to 4pm of the 27th<\/sup> September you can watch the traditional \u2018Rociero\u2019 Choirs sing in the centre of town.<\/p>\n

8)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Concert in the \u2018Principe de Asturias\u2019 Auditorium: S.U.R and 12,13 Reggae Band<\/p>\n

9)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 At 7pm on Saturday 29th<\/sup> September there is a Procession through the streets of Torremolinos by the Municipal Band and the Spanish Foreign Legion Band.<\/p>\n

10)\u00a0 All attractions and fair rides on Sunday 30th<\/sup> September are reduced to \u20ac1.50 for Childrens Day.<\/p>\n

11)\u00a0 Bullfighting in the Torremolinos bullring: Your chance to see top matadors in action!<\/p>\n
