This Thursday sees the start of the <strong><em>Feria de San Miguel<\/em><\/strong> in Torremolinos; from the 26<sup>th<\/sup> to the 29<sup>th<\/sup> September our neighbouring town will be in full festive mode to celebrate the most important date on their calendar.<\/p>\n<p>As you would expect in this type of festivity, there will be something for all ages with the town hall organising concerts and live shows for children, youngsters and adults alike.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Although many of the events programmed for this long weekend might not appeal to everyone, we\u2019ve gone ahead and highlighted some of the events and shows which we think <strong>Sunset Beach Club<\/strong> guests might enjoy. Here goes\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday 26<sup>th<\/sup> September\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>From 1.00pm to 7.00pm: <strong>Free Paella and \u2018Callos\u2019 with live music<\/strong> in the <em>Plaza Federico Garc\u00eda <\/em><\/li>\n<li>2.00pm to 4.00pm: Take a stroll through the centre of town and listen to the wonderful singing of the typical <strong>\u2018Coros Rocieros\u2019 (Choirs).<\/strong> <em><\/em><\/li>\n<li>20.15: <strong>Official inauguration of the Fair<\/strong> with special street parade and marching band<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Friday 27<sup>th<\/sup> September\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2.00pm to 4.00pm: Take a stroll through the centre of town and listen to the wonderful singing of the typical \u2018Coros Rocieros\u2019 (Choirs).<\/li>\n<li>11.00pm: <strong>A night of Flamenco Fusion with PITINGO<\/strong> (famous Spanish artist) \u2013 in the Municipal Auditorium<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Saturday 28<sup>th<\/sup> September\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2.00pm: <strong>Large Paella, music and dancing<\/strong> in the <em>Plaza R\u00edo Aguasvivas<\/em><\/li>\n<li>6.00pm: <strong>Feria de San Miguel bull fight<\/strong> in the Torremolinos Bullring (Tickets available at the Sunset Beach Club leisure desk).<em><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Sunday 29<sup>th<\/sup> September\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>12.30pm: <strong>Mass in honour of San Miguel Arc\u00e1ngel<\/strong> in the San Miguel Church<em><\/em><\/li>\n<li>7.00pm: <strong>Procession through the streets of Torremolinos<\/strong> with the Spanish Foreign Legion marching band<em><\/em><\/li>\n<li>11.00pm: <strong>Flamenco Show with JOS\u00c9 LUCENA<\/strong> in the Municipal Auditorium.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Don\u2019t forget that in addition to the above activities and events, there will be lots of great food and drink available in most of the town\u2019s restaurants and bars with much of the \u2018action\u2019 (singing, dancing, etc) taking place in the centre.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, please ask at the <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sunsetbeachclub.com\" target=\"_blank\">Sunset Beach Club<\/a><\/span><\/strong> leisure desk located on the 6<sup>th<\/sup> floor of the hotel.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tweet Are you ready to enjoy 4 days of music, dancing, delicious food and lots of great \u2018vino\u2019?
