They say it\u2019s \u201cThe Coolest Place in Spain\u201d, literally! With temperatures inside its frozen walls reaching a chilling -14\u00baC Boal\u2019s Ice Bar in Benalmadena Marina<\/strong> is actually Spain\u2019s first ice bar and an extremely popular destination for tourists and locals looking for a fun and unique experience.<\/p>\n

Everything in the bar is made of ice: The walls, the bar, the seats, the sculptures and even some of the glasses<\/strong> (the ones used for shots) are made of ice! And don\u2019t worry of you haven\u2019t packed your fleece\u2026 as part of the entrance fee, you are provided with a thermal cape, gloves and socks to keep you warm!<\/p>\n

Getting into Benalmadena\u2019s Ice Bar will cost you \u20ac10 for adults and \u20ac5 for kids<\/strong> and includes the rental of the thermal gear and a cocktail of your choice. There\u2019s no need to book, just turn up and you\u2019ll be given a ticket for the ice bar; you might have to wait a while but they also have a very nice exterior terrace called the Igloo Bar where you can enjoy a quick drink before your \u201ccool\u201d experience.<\/p>\n

As you can probably imagine, the Icebar is popular with many of our groups and hen parties<\/a><\/strong> and we actually recommend it on our list of \u201826 Fun Things to do in Benalmadena\u201d<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re feeling brave, you can also challenge for the bar\u2019s endurance record. They\u2019ve got some interesting categories: Guys in trunks, girls in bikinis or even nude! Apparently the record for this last one stands at 3 minutes \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
