\"PhotosWe recently wrote about the Erotic Tapas Route<\/strong><\/span><\/a> which was to be held in Fuengirola at the start of November. This fun and \u2018cheeky\u2019 event has grown in popularity over that last few years and now attracts thousands of visitors from all over Spain.<\/p>\n

As it\u2019s such a unique concept, we like to get our roving reporters on the scene to grab photographic evidence of these \u2018erotic\u2019 tapas and see what all the fuss is about. Our intrepid colleague, Inma, enlisted the help of some of her friends and \u2013 camera in hand \u2013 started her adventure visiting many of the bars and restaurants participating in the Erotic Tapas Route.<\/p>\n

Below you\u2019ll find photos of the tapas<\/strong> she and her friends tried together with the name of each dish and a brief description of the ingredients. We\u2019ve included a brief translation of the names but please bear in mind that some of the fun is lost in translation. Some of the featured tapas look more appetising than others but what we can\u2019t deny is that \u00a0real thought and effort went into some of these fun creations!<\/p>\n

Here goes\u2026<\/p>\n

#1 Flor de la Passion (Flower of Passion)<\/h3>\n

\"FotoRestaurante el Rio\u2019s entry is probably one of the tapas with the best presentation; however, we\u2019re still not too sure of all the ingredients\u2026 What is clear is that the \u2018flower pot\u2019 is a very clever mould made of eggs!<\/p>\n

#2 La Abuela Tambi\u00e9n Tiene Ganas (Grandma is also in the mood)<\/h3>\n

\"FotoLa Despensa de la Abuela prepared a simple but certainly \u2018erotic\u2019 tapa made with specially moulded bread (the design is pretty self explanatory) filled with Jamon Serrano and a dollop of Philadelphia cheese on the end!<\/p>\n

#3 Desn\u00fadame, Mojame, C\u00f3meme (Undress me, wet me, eat me)<\/h3>\n

\"TapaEl Descorche\u2019s entry certainly had a suggestive name! Our reporter didn\u2019t actually try this one so we can\u2019t confirm what was in the rapper but we think it was some type of sausage.<\/p>\n

#4 Afrodita<\/h3>\n

\"TapaWe found this tapa in Casa Center. A courgette pure, mussel and prawns. Although not the most appetising of dishes, we are told that it was in fact delicious!<\/p>\n

#5 Flechazo (Shot through the Heart)<\/h3>\n

\"FotoBodega la Solera put together another interesting tapa. It was a heart shaped burger and roll with potato skewer and special sauce. There was also a small love note attached to the top – 10 out of 10 for presentation!<\/p>\n

#6 Nido de Amor Con Mucho Rabo (Love Nest With a lot of Tail)<\/h3>\n

\"TapaThis tapa was available in Mes\u00f3n Salamanca. Beautifully presented, this tapa consisted of a crispy tortilla shell filled with an ox tail stew and goat\u2019s cheese.<\/p>\n

#7 Bis a Bis en San Quint\u00edn (Vis \u00e0 Vis in San Quentin)<\/h3>\n

\"TapaSan Quint\u00edn is a bar and they came up with a fun name to go with their tapa: A couple of vol au vent\u2019s filled with cream cheese, gherkins, olives, sea food salad and salmon, all presented in a rather suggestive layout \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

#8 Seducci\u00f3n del Sol al Mar (The Sun Seduces the Sea)<\/h3>\n

\"TapaThe Solymar bar put together one of our favourite tapas both in terms of presentation and flavour. Filler steak with caramelized onions over a bed of french fries; the skewer \u2013 resembling the sun \u2013 is made up of fruit.<\/p>\n

#9 Pichot\u00e9o (Sorry, can\u2019t translate this one)<\/h3>\n

\"TapaTaberna El Picot\u00e9o prepared an interesting tapa\u2026 Kalaifi pastry filled with prawns in a b\u00e9chamel sauce. The white object in the glass is actually a serviette which has expanded after having hot water poured over it. Certainly different!<\/p>\n

#10 Lujuria Mediterranea (Mediterranean Lust)<\/h3>\n

\"TapaLa Casona de Paqui prepared this colourful dish which consisted of a curry-style soup with prawn, mussels and other decorative elements.<\/p>\n
