From Thursday 28th August to Sunday 31st August 2025, Benalm\u00e1dena Pueblo (the old town) will host the latest edition of its<\/span>\u00a0Arabian Market (Zoco)<\/b>, an event which, once again, returns to the town’s summer cultural programme.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Arabian Market will be spread out throughout various locations, running from Calle Real to Plaza del Aguacil and Plaza de las Tres Culturas. Aimed to promote the town\u2019s beauty and charm, the town hall hopes this unique event will once again attract tourists from all over the Coast.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Benalm\u00e1dena locals and visitors will be able to enjoy the best of Arabian culture<\/b> through its products and traditions. The narrow streets of Benalm\u00e1dena Pueblo will be dressed in exotic fabrics and traditional Jaimas.<\/i> A wide variety of stalls will offer a wonderful choice of Arab products and arts such as spices, clothes, workshops, ceramics, calligraphy or sweet treats. If you also enjoy the exotic tastes of Arab gastronomy, you\u2019ll find teas, Cous-Cous, falafels and other delicacies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s lots of fun entertainment on the event’s programme too: Street Parades and performers; belly dancers; Workshops (painting, henna, making arabic tea), live music, traditional games and fun rides <\/b>for the little ones! This year’s event also includes a special area for a birds of prey exhibition featuring experts in this area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Arabian Market official opening hours are as follows: From 7:00pm to midnight on Thursday and from 12:00pm to midnight on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whilst the Arab Market is on, you’ll be able to park in the parking under the Los Nadales fairground from 6pm every evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t miss this fun and unique event next weekend. Take a trip back in time and experience authentic Arabian culture. Let your senses explode with the aromas of the delicious food and dance to the hypnotic rhythm of the music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
