Rough Guides has placed the Costa del Sol\u2019s capital in second place on their list of top destinations around the world<\/strong>. <\/a>The editors and authors of this popular guide were quick to point out Malaga\u2019s cultural treasures\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cIn 2015, a cube-shaped building on the quay will swing open its doors as an offshoot of the Centre Pompidou in Paris, featuring works by M\u00e1laga-born Pablo Picasso. Other projects signalling M\u00e1laga\u2019s cultural revival include a new museum of Russian art, set to light up a former tobacco factory, and the continued development of mural-daubed Soho, which attracts trailblazing street artists.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Frommers, another of the most respected and well established travel guides in the world has also included Malaga in its list of \u2018Best Places to Go in 2015<\/a>\u201d!<\/strong><\/p>\n

They make specific reference to the city\u2019s rich culture and mild winter temperatures as well as the fact that many tourists have yet to discover its charms (qualifying it as a find!). Another of the \u2018talking points\u2019 is the city\u2019s selection as the site for the first \u2018Pop-Up Pompidou\u2019. Due to open in the spring the museum will play an important role in Malaga\u2019s resurgence as a top cultural travel destination.<\/p>\n

The new Palmeral and Muelle Uno waterfront promenade<\/a> together with the new Carmen Thyssen museum also deserve a mention in contributing to Malaga\u2019s popularity as a top winter destination.<\/p>\n
