Views from the Cathedral’s roof terrace<\/p><\/div>\n

A trip into\u00a0M\u00e1laga’s city centre is a must\u00a0for all who visit the Costa del Sol and, as from last month, there\u2019s a new star attraction which you\u2019ll need to add to your list of places to see: The Terraces of M\u00e1laga Cathedral.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Opened to the general public last month, these new terraces are located almost fifty metres above sea level and offer visitors stunning views over the city<\/strong> and a great perspective of the famous Alcazaba fortress. If you don\u2019t mind the 200 step climb, this really is a unique experience which allows you to walk over an area of the cathedral that has never been open to the public\u00a0and where you\u2019ll be able to take spectacular photos of the city.<\/p>\n

All visits are guided and carried out in groups of up to 50 people every half an hour.<\/strong> You\u2019ll be taken on a set route which starts in the Cathedral\u2019s north tower, taking you along a system of stairways and walkways fitted with hand rails and special floor-level lighting until you reach the new terrace area overlooking the city and the Cathedrals architectural features.<\/p>\n

Mornings:<\/strong> \u00a010:30am to 1:30pm<\/p>\n

Afternoons:<\/strong> 6:00pm to 8:00pm<\/p>\n

Evenings:<\/strong> 9:00pm (Only on Thursday, Friday and Saturday)<\/p>\n

Where to buy tickets<\/h3>\n

If you\u2019d like to visit the terraces of M\u00e1laga Cathedral, you can buy tickets at the ArsM\u00e1laga ticket office located in \u2018Plaza del Obispo\u2019 in the Episcopal Palace.<\/p>\n
