Not only will you be treated to a fantastic selection of movie hits but there\u2019s also a \u2018surprise\u2019 closing act where Ricky and several volunteers \u2013 including Sunset Beach Club staff- will be performing a Full Monty tribute!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The aim of the event is to, once again, raise funds for 3 kid\u2019s charities Sunset Beach Club has been supporting for the last 4 years as part of our \u2018Sunset Breaks\u2019 initiative. As a similar event last year, we managed to <strong>raise just over \u20ac12,000 for these charities<\/strong> and we\u2019ll be hoping to surpass this figure at this year\u2019s concert.<\/p>\n<p>The charities supported, <strong>Make-A-Wish<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>&nbsp;Spain<\/strong><strong>, Barretstown and Debra Spain<\/strong> all have a theme in common, creating special memories for children battling serious illness.<\/p>\n<p>During the show\u2019s interval, there will be a raffle with fantastic prizes up for grabs including the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 nights accommodation and breakfast in a Deluxe Junior Suite at Sunset Beach Club<\/li>\n<li>\u20ac60 voucher to use in the Oasis Restaurant at Sunset Beach Club<\/li>\n<li>2 nights accommodation and breakfast at La Cala Resort + 90 minute Spa Session<\/li>\n<li>2 return flights to the UK with Jet 2<\/li>\n<li>4 Green fees at La Cala Golf<\/li>\n<li>A family photo shoot with Dougie Farrelly<\/li>\n<li>Breakfast for 2 at Scoffers with Ricky Lavazza<\/li>\n<li>Indian cookery lesson at home for 2 people<\/li>\n<li>3 months membership at Boyd\u2019s Fitness<\/li>\n<li>A set of the latest GHD hair straighteners<\/li>\n<li>And lots, lots more!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tickets are just \u20ac10 per person and all proceeds go to the above-mentioned charities. You can buy your&nbsp;tickets at the Sunset Beach Club Leisure Desk located on the 6th floor of the hotel &#8211; Don&#8217;t leave it too long as it sold out last year \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Doors to the Moonlight Theatre open at 8:00pm on Saturday 26<sup>th<\/sup> May and the show starts at 9:00pm!<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s a little more information about the three charities we\u2019re supporting at this event:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Butterfly Children Charity (DEBRA Spain)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Butterfly Children Charity helps children with EB, a condition which makes skin as fragile as a butterfly wing. EB sufferers require painful daily wound care routines and parents are generally the sole carers.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Barretstown<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Founded in 1994 by Hollywood actor, Paul Newman, Barretstown (located in Co. Kildare, Ireland) is a unique camp that provides medically endorsed residential programmes of therapeutic recreation for children with cancer and other serious illnesses. Children travel to Barretstown from all over Europe free of charge.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Make-A-Wish<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>&nbsp;Spain<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Make-A-Wish<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>&nbsp;Spain grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening medical conditions.
