Too many people, too much traffic, too many queues, it\u2019s too hot\u2026 stress!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, if you\u2019re willing to hold off on your holiday plans until September, the panorama changes\u2026 drastically!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>September is probably one of the best times of year to visit Benalmadena. Although it\u2019s still busy, kids are back at school and Spanish travellers (who usually holiday in August) are back at work. You\u2019ll also find that flights and accommodation are considerably cheaper and the weather is still fantastic; lots of sunshine but not as stiflingly hot as July and August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Have we convinced you to come and visit this wonderful coastal town in September? If so, below you&#8217;ll find a <strong>list of things to do and places to see in Benalmadena (and the surrounding area) in September.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before we get to the list of main visitor attractions in the area, there are a few events taking place locally (or nearby) in September that you may find interesting\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-259fd26adb9249d73893e3c8c7119fd1\"><strong>>> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sunsetbeachclub.com\/en\/seasons-at-sunset-beach-club\/summer-holidays-in-benalmadena#dialog\" title=\"\">Click Here to Book your September Break at Sunset Beach Club Now!<\/a>&lt;&lt; <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Events in September<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color\">Opera Benalmadena &#8211; Shows in the Auditorium<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">The Auditorium in Paloma Park will host several concerts and shows throughout September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>8th September:<\/em><\/strong> Tres Esquinas Tango &#8211; A choreographed voyage to the Buenos Aires of the 40&#8217;s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>13th September: <\/em><\/strong>Miguel de Molina &#8211; Entre dos orillas, una vida bailada &#8211; Flamenco Musical<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>14th September: <\/em><\/strong>Hadas. the Musical<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>19th September:<\/em><\/strong> The Guitar Legends &#8211; Tributes to Eric Clapton, Santana, John Mayer and more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>20th September:<\/em><\/strong> F.A.R West &#8211; Comedy show by the legendary Yllana company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Location<\/strong>:<\/em> The <em>Auditorio Municipal<\/em> in Paloma Park<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Price<\/strong>:<\/em> TBC<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color\"><strong>International Tourism Day <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">The 27th September is International Tourism Day, and to celebrate, all museums and monuments in Malaga City will be free to enter. Some even offer free guided tours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>The \u2018Luna Mora Festival\u2019 in Guaro<\/strong><\/span> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although this isn\u2019t really local, it\u2019s definitely worth mentioning as it\u2019s a stunning spectacle. The streets come alive in the evenings with the&nbsp;<strong>spectacular illumination of 25,000 candles&nbsp;<\/strong>strategically positioned to create a unique and magical ambience. Visitors will also enjoy the traditional Arab artisan market, workshops (Henna and belly dancing), street performers, storytelling and mouth-watering gastronomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Location<\/strong>:<\/em> Guaro (approx. 1-hour drive from Sunset Beach Club)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Dates:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/em>12th &amp; 13th September 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>The San Miguel Fair in Torremolinos<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit Torremolinos from the 24<sup>th<\/sup> September 2025 for five fun-packed days to enjoy one of the most popular festivities on the Costa del Sol\u2026 Flamenco, wines, great food, music, dancing, concerts, funfair and lots more!
