Are you planning on travelling to Benalmadena with a baby<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve put together this list of 7 Tips which includes suggestions to make your holiday less stressful and more enjoyable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

#1. Pack & Travel Light<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Just pack the bare essentials. We understand that it can be tempting to pack everything but the kitchen sink, especially when you are first time parents, but believe us, it\u2019ll just make your travels a nightmare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s nothing worse than traipsing through an airport and then trying to board a plane with several bags over your shoulders, a pram and toys whilst trying to cradle your baby. Bear in mind that most of the vital items you\u2019ll need on holiday, nappies and baby food included can be purchased once you arrive in Benalmadena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Sunset Beach Club we have an onsite supermarket that stocks nappies and baby food, a pharmacy vending machine where you can buy basic medical supplies and we even have a self-service laundrette so that you can easily wash baby\u2019s clothes if need be (and avoid having to bring dozens of changes of clothes).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#2. Rent a Car or use a Private Transfer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Benalmadena is just a 20-minute drive from the airport \u2013 another advantage of holidaying here \u2013 and you have various travel options. We recommend you hire a car as you have the option to get a car seat for your baby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re not planning on doing much driving or don\u2019t fancy the hassle of driving, booking a private transfer is a valid option as you\u2019ll be able to book a car seat too. Regular taxis aren\u2019t required to carry car seats so you\u2019d have to carry your baby in your arms; not a good option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#3. Hire a Baby Stoller Once You get to Benalmadena<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you want to travel even lighter, you might want to consider leaving your baby stroller at home. Most hotels work with local companies which hire out all types of baby equipment, including strollers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#4. Ask your hotel about Baby Sitting Services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Whilst you\u2019re on holiday with your baby, you may fancy a \u2018date night\u2019 with your partner. We know that some people might not be comfortable with this, but it\u2019s great to have the option!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Sunset Beach Club we have lots of guests with young babies who use our babysitting service so that they can pop out for a quick meal or drink whilst the little one is fast asleep in the room and being looked after by a babysitter. If you\u2019re interested in booking this service, you just have to ask at reception when you check-in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#5. Find out where Local Doctors or Hospitals are (Just in case)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The probabilities of you needing a doctor during your holiday are small, but it\u2019s better to be safe than sorry. Whilst there are plenty of local clinics and hospitals in the Benalmadena area, at Sunset Beach Club we actually have a doctor\u2019s surgery on the 1st<\/sup> floor of the hotel. The doctor visits every day at 11.30 am and you can just pop in to see him if you have any questions or queries. We also have an agreement with the Vithas Xanit Hospital which is just 5 minutes away by car, should you need more urgent treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#6. Book accommodation that caters to families with babies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Not all hotels cater to families with babies so it\u2019s important to do your due diligence before booking. We\u2019ll save you the trouble. At Sunset Beach Club you and your baby can enjoy\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
