If you\u2019re travelling to Benalmadena between February and April this year (2024), you\u2019ll be delighted to hear that the Town Hall, together with the Port Authority, have organised some fantastic events for this quieter winter\/spring period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an effort to inject a little life to the Marina and offer visitors entertaining events encompassing culture, music and workshops, the organisers have put together a diverse range of initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Read on for details of all the events taking place from February to April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Beatlemania \u2013 24th<\/sup> & 25th<\/sup> February 2024<\/h2>\n\n\n

A full weekend dedicated to the Beatles! You\u2019ll enjoy facemask workshops, musical games, and arts & crafts market and an amazing Beatles Tribute band, The Silver Beats. They actually played in our Moonlight Bar a few years ago and we highly recommend you head down to the Marina on Saturday or Sunday to watch them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OnlyFest \u2013 9th<\/sup> March 2024 (Postponed to 6th April due to bad weather)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

OnlyFest is a special event dedicated to Singles. So if you\u2019re looking for the love of your life, this may be the event for you! There will be live music all day with OBK, Play and El Mandato del Loco as well as fun activities including speed dating, confessions and express weddings with Elvis Presley!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

March is \u2018Folklore\u2019 month with events inspired in Andaluc\u00eda, Japan and Celtic culture (for St. Patrick\u2019s Day celebrations)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andaluc\u00eda Day \u2013 2nd<\/sup> March 2024<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Just two days after Andaluc\u00eda Day, the Marina will honour its local roots with a series of concerts (Los Voluble, Garc\u00eda Picasso & Carmen X\u00eda) as well as a \u2018Gran Cajoneada\u2019 (The Cajon is a flamenco percussion instrument). Kids, parents and even grandparents will all be able to take part in this event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Celtic Day \u2013 16th<\/sup> March 2024<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Coinciding with the popular St. Patrick\u2019s Day celebrations, this event will feature an amazing concert by Uphoria, a U2 tribute band as well as typical Celtic dancers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Japan Day \u2013 23rd<\/sup> March 2024<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A full day dedicated to the land of the rising sun with Kimono stands, origami and Japanese caligraphy workshops as well as the famous tea ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In April we\u2019ve got two events to look forward to, Gaming weekend and the Seafood Fair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gaming Weekend – 13th<\/sup> & 14th<\/sup> April<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is the weekend for Gamers! Loads of stalls with simulators, virtual football, arcade games, virtual reality zone, Just Dance and Mario Kart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feria del Marisco (Seafood Fair) \u2013 19th, 20th<\/sup> & 21st<\/sup> April<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A long weekend where you\u2019ll be able to feast on the best seafood at discounted prices. Just head down to the Eastern side of the Marina (next to the Ferris Wheel) and sample your favourite seafood washed down with a crisp white wine or an ice-cold beer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
