Located between the towns of Malaga and Benalmadena lays Torremolinos, the first resort on the Costa del Sol resort to be developed back in the early sixties. Torremolinos still attracts thousands of tourists every year and has always been noted for it’s clean sandy beaches, wide choice of restaurants and unparalleled variety of entertainment and nightlife available. Please note that the main centre of Torremolinos and promenade are pedestrian only, so when visiting you might choose to take the bus or train which will only take a few minutes from Sunset Beach Club.
The Torremolinos Aquapark, is the largest water park on the Costa del Sol! With great attractions such as the kamikaze, twister and boomerang, there’s plenty to keep you entertained all day long!
This is your chance to hold a real live crocodile in your hands, even if it is only a baby one! Complete with baby croc nursery, the largest croc in Europe, an African fortress and live demonstrations, this is a fascinating day trip to be enjoyed by all.
La Carihuela, the area of Torremolinos nearest to Benalmadena is lovely. Great for a peaceful stroll, some souvenir buying, sun bathing, enjoying some tapas and traditional 'pescaito frito' (Fried fish) or even playing a quick round of mini golf!
