Sunset Beach Club is located on the seafront of Benalmadena Costa, one of the most popular holiday towns on the Costa del Sol. Benalmadena is a large resort with a little bit of everything, where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, relaxing strolls, scenic views and a bustling nightlife. There is however more to Benalmadena than its sunny coastline.
The original heart of Benalmadena is a couple of minutes from the sea. Benalmadena Pueblo is a traditional and Spanish whitewashed village with cobble streets, amazing views, a beautifully designed castle in remembrance of Christopher Columbus, a small church and plenty of cafés and tapas bars.
Arroyo de la Miel
A bustling town between Benalmadena Pueblo and the coast. Arroyo de la Miel offers Spanish shops, bars and restaurants as well as everything else you would find in a typical town centre, such as a frequent bus service and a train station. Arroyo de la Miel is also home to Benalmadena’s amusement park, Tivoli World.
Benalmadena is now home to the largest Buddhist temple in the Western World! This unique structure can be seen from various points across the coast. If you want to have a look inside, the “Stupa” is open to visitors Tuesday to Friday. Don't forget your camera as the views down to the Coast are spectacular!
Not surprisingly, Benalmadena port has been twice voted the World’s Best Marine Port! Benalmádena Port is a fabulous facility located just a few minutes from Sunset Beach Club, which hosts a wide range of activities, including boat rides, fishing trips, dolphin watching trips, a large shopping centre, evening entertainment and of course great seafood.
The beautiful Bil-Bil castle is right on the beach close to the centre of Benalmadena and a couple of minutes walk along the coast from Sunset Beach Club. Weddings are often held here at weekends and it is a beautiful building to see during the day or at night.

Butterfly Park Benalmádena
Feel the experience of more than 1,500 butterflies from all over the world flying free around you in a tropical environment. The Butterfly Park Benalmádena is over 2,000 m2, the largest climate controlled space dedicated to butterflies, in Europe. The building was built in the butterfly thailand style which added difficulty to the inherent complexity of the project. To give the building authenticity, many building materials and decorative elements were brought directly from Thailand.
