Guests who frequently visit Sunset Beach Club during the quieter winter months will be happy to know that we will be reintroducing our Half Board accommodation option this November.
Last year it managed to attract over 90.000 visitors and this year, organisers are hoping to improve upon this impressive figure. We’re referring to the Medieval Market which is taking place in Fuengirola’s Sohail Castle until Sunday the 17th August.
This is the 11th consecutive year that the event has been held and just goes to prove its success. So much so that it has now become one of the most important in Spain thanks, mainly, to its unique setting in an XIth century Muslim fortress.
It’s one of the Costa del Sol’s biggest and most popular events, and it starts this Friday (15th August)… the Malaga Fair (or ‘Feria’ as it is called in Spanish).
Eight days – and nights – of complete madness where visitors will be treated to the best of Ansalucian culture and traditions. The Malaga Fair has something for everyone: Culture, Great food (and drink!), dancing, live music, entertainment, to name but a few.
This year, there will more than 200 free shows providing over 200 hours of fun and entertainment for all who attend. The official programme is a massive 23 pages long (You can download a copy – in Spanish- HERE) however, for those short on time, we’ve included a list of events and activities which we think you’ll enjoy.
We love Instagram! There, we’ve said it.
This relatively new social network – which allows you to take fabulous photos, apply cool filters and effects and share them with your network – is growing at an amazing rate; it now boasts over 200 million active users worldwide!
Instagram is all about sharing great photos. It’s easy to use – even someone who has no photography skills can make a photo look amazing – fun and highly addictive. Browsing through your Instagram feed you’ll see spectacular images taken by ‘normal’ people, just like you and I :-).

All our regular guests know that every summer our entertainment team prepares fabulous shows for our guests to enjoy in the evenings. This year is no exception and the team have been rehearsing hard for several months preparing for this year’s new show: A Tribute to Grease.
If you’re a fan of the hit movie and musical, you’ll love our new show. You’ll be transported back to 1958 to enjoy the tender love story of Dany Zuko and Sandy Olsson as well as all the fun members of the cast including the T-Birds and Pink Ladies!
This Thursday the 24th July sees the start of the 2nd edition of Benalmadena’s Great Beer Festival. Once again, this fun event takes place in the Marina and will be open to the public until Sunday the 3rd August.
All visitors to the Beer Festival will have the opportunity to sample the best wheat and barley beer (König Ludwid Weissbier) as well as taste some traditional German dishes including: red and white sausages, roast pork knuckles, pretzels, sauerkraut or flamenkuchen (german pizza).
Muelle Uno is a large open-space leisure and recreation area which opened just over 2 years ago as part the ambitious remodelling of MalagaPort. With more than 50 shops and restaurants as well as cultural activities and events, it’s a required stop for anyone visiting Málaga.
Selwo Marina in Benalmádena has to be one of our favourite family attractions. Located just next to Paloma Park this is the only Dolphinarium in Andalucia and offers visitors a spectacular experience which includes dolphin exhibitions, sea lion show, exotic birds show and penguin feeding to name but a few.
As well as the regular programme and shows, Selwo Marina also offers special and unique experiences which allow you to see behind the scenes and interact with its friendly inhabitants. You can choose between the special VIP visit (includes pretty much everything), the dolphin encounter, swimming with sea lions and the VIP penguin visit.
