Lobo Park (Wolf Park) is located in the true heart of Andalucía (see map below) and is the only wild like park of its kind.
Founded by Daniel Weigend and Alexandra Stieber as a private initiative in 2002, Lobo Park soon opened its doors to the general public in 2004 and has since welcomed thousands of visitors. The founders idea was to provide a natural habitat which would protect the existent wildlife and allow the wolves – and other animals – to live without interference from humans or domestication. Limestone landscapes of El Torcal
Have you ever visited Antequera? If not, you should definitely consider adding it to your list of ‘places to visit’ as it’s probably one of the most overlooked attractions in Andalucia.
This summer you’ll have the perfect excuse as the Antequera Town Hall will be running a special campaign called ‘Luz de Luna’ (‘Moonlight’). This unique initiative consists of a series of night visits – in English and Spanish – which will take you to some of the most iconic landmarks in the area; a great idea as visiting this beautiful part of Andalucia during the day and having to deal with the extreme heat is probably not a good idea 😉 (more…)
