Valentine’s Day is just around the corner….. Have you decided what you are going to give your loved one? Is it a nice watch, some jewellery, or perhaps a holiday to Sunset Beach Club?
It’s so important to enjoy a few moments of relaxation and intimacy with our partner and inject a little romance into our relationship; What better way than with a romantic dinner in an emblematic hotel in Benalmádena? Yes, I’m talking about Sunset Beach Club’s Valentine’s Day dinner.
We’re in for an exciting 4 weeks here at Sunset Beach Club as we once again welcome Cricket Teams from all over Europe as the Official Hotel partners of the European Cricket League.
Cricket fans will be able to enjoy this international club tournament which takes place over 4 weeks and which this year features 35 teams from across Europe, including four teams from England.
Benalmadena offers much more than a summer holiday fueled by sun, sea and sangria.
To be honest, we’re a little baffled as to why our amazing city doesn’t get busier in the Winter; But that may just be what makes it so appealing to visit in the quieter months (November, December, January and February)!
The important thing to keep in mind is that, although temperatures are considerably lower than during the summer months – and that’s not necessarily a bad thing – the sun shines practically every day. Don’t forget we’re privileged to get more than 320 days of sunshine per year here on the Costa del Sol!
Whilst there are many things to do in Benalmadena in Winter, we’ve summarised some of our favourites for you.
With just over a week to go until Christmas, Málaga city centre is bustling with festive fun and excitement!
A walk through the streets of the city’s historic centre at Christmas time is an experience we would recommend to all who visit the Costa del Sol at this time of year. The stunning Christmas lights, mouth-watering gastronomy and magical ambience make for a truly wonderful visit to the Coast’s capital.
There’s lots going on in Malaga over Christmas; however, the four suggestions listed below are absolute musts: (more…)
As the official hotel partner of the European Cricket Network, we’re delighted to welcome them back for the second edition of the successful Women’s European Cricket Championship which will be held at the Cartama Oval from the 9th to the 20th December 2024.
This exciting tournament will follow in its men’s counterpart’s footsteps and be divided into two divisions; the Challenger and Premier. As we experienced with the men’s Championship held in October, this new format will ensure competitive balance and allow all participating teams to show off their skills at the Cartama Oval.
Another unique feature this year is that we’ll have two champions crowned, one for each division.
The teams taking part this year are as follows:
Challenger Division
Premier Division
Spain
England XI
Austria
Ireland XI
Germany
Scotland XI
Jersey
Netherlands XI
Czechia
Italy
From the 9th to 15th December we’ll see the Challenger division teams take to the field and we’re hoping to see a repeat of the great cricket experienced last year!
From the 15th to the 20th December Europe’s top cricketing nations take centre stage with the England XI looking to retain their ‘Champions’ status. We’re sure last year’s runners-up, Netherlands XI will have something to say about that!
We look forward to welcoming all the teams to Sunset Beach Club next week and can’t wait to sit back and enjoy some world-class women’s cricket over the next couple of weeks!
Anyone looking to stay at Sunset Beach Club during the tournament can check availability and prices online through our website www.sunsetbeachclub.com.
