Have you ventured into the original village of Benalmadena? In a raised position a few kilometres from the coastline, fabulous panoramic views can be enjoyed from the original “Benalmádena Village”. It is ideal for a half day visit, where you can enjoy not only stunning views, but also sample some tapas in the village restaurants. Famous for the high-life, fast cars and big yachts, Puerto Banús is located about 40 minutes from Sunset Beach Club, and there is still a good chance you will see celebrities strolling around here – although perhaps not as much as in the 80’s and 90’s. This bustling port offers a great mixture of designer shops and market stalls alongside the harbour, where you can also find some great restaurants and nightclubs which are open until dawn.

The processions of Holy Week in Andalucia are spectacular. This is a great time of the year to visit the Costa del Sol.

Marbella town centre is approximately 30 minutes from Sunset Beach Club. The famous Orange Square is located in the heart of the old town, where tiny cobbled streets are lined with designer stores, souvenir shops, and some great shoe shops. Obviously it wouldn’t be Spain without a few bars and restaurants, and you will also find an abundance of these – spit and sawdust tapas bars down tiny alleyways, street cafés and a selection of excellent international restaurants.
