This summer, kids under the age of 12 who visit Benalmadena with their parents will be able to enjoy visiting the resort’s top leisure attractions for free!

Benalmadena Town Council and many of the city’s tourism community have joined forces to launch this fantastic campaign which means that kids won’t have to pay this summer when they visit their favourite tourist spots (see a list of the free* attractions below).

*Conditions apply : Each park or attraction has their own conditions and offers, which are subject to change and date restrictions. You will find more information through the Benalmadena Tourism website (link at bottom of page), and in turn the page of each supplier. There is a Promo Code, so take this with you in case you are asked for it benalmadenaniñosgratis2020JA

This bold initiative created to attract tourism this summer season is called ‘Aventura en Familia’ (Family Adventure) and has received great coverage on national media due to its uniqueness. It’s no secret that local tourism has suffered tremendous damage due to the Covid-19 pandemic and this campaign will hopefully help to attract much-needed business during the summer months.

The campaign also aims to reward the younger members of the family for being so brave and understanding during the difficult lockdown period; They are true heroes and deserve to enjoy themselves this summer. The lockdown has caused financial hardship for many families and not having to pay for their kids to visit these amazing attractions will certainly be a relief for many.

Hotels (including Sunset Beach Club), restaurants and leisure parks have joined together to make this campaign possible and to create a unique proposition to establish Benalmadena at the forefront of this summer’s holiday destinations in Spain.

The leisure parks and attractions where kids (under 12) will have free* access are the following:

  • Tivoli World
  • Selwo Marina
  • Benalmadena Cable Car
  • Sealife Aquarium
  • Colomares Castle
  • Costasol Cruises (Dolphin trips and trips to Fuengirola)
  • Butterfly Park
  • City Sightseeing Bus Tours

We don’t have a list of the restaurants taking part but can confirm that they form part of the newly created ‘Asociación de Hosteleros de Benalmádena’ and that they will be offering free drinks to kids under 12.

Don’t forget that at Sunset Beach Club kids also stay for free as our accommodation is priced per apartment and not per person. This means that a family of four can stay in one of our 1 bedroom apartments for one reasonable nightly price without having to worry about paying extra for kids.

If you’ve been considering visiting Benalmadena this summer, knowing that your kids can visit many of the city’s main leisure attractions for free is a great incentive for a fun, safe and value-for-money holiday in the sun. Further information can be found on the Benalmadena Tourism website.
