Busy weekend at Holiday World Dublin

Debbie and Chelo had a busy weekend at the Holiday World show at the RDS in Dublin, where they introduced lots of visitors to Sunset Beach Club, and also caught up with some regular guests. A great show, with no shortage of interest from families, golfers, and also some brides, who we also hope to see next week at the Bride of the Year Show. Watch this space for news tomorrow of the winner of the Prize Draw. The lucky winner will receive three nights accommodation at Sunset Beach Club.

Dublin’s Wedding Journal Show

I’ve only just got around to uploading my pictures from my recent trip to Dublin! As I had mentioned on an earlier post that this was my first trip to Ireland and I am pleased to say I had a great time there, working hard on our stand at the Wedding Journal Show all weekend and meeting lots of friendly locals. Although the weather wasn’t great, at least I managed to avoid the snow! The show was held at the Citywest Convention centre and there was a great turn out, with lots of interest in getting married here in Spain. My colleagues, Miguel and Claire will be in Dublin again this weekend at the Bride of the Year Show, so if you’re in the area, be sure to visit them at the RDS!

The España stand at Holiday World Belfast. The show was well attended, and it was very encouraging to see that so many people are starting to plan and look forward to their next holiday. Debbie had a busy three days chatting to past and potential guests, who were interested in various types of holiday, including family holidays, winter breaks, golf packages and ladies winter escapes!

We can’t resist a trip to Dublin!

Our Commercial Director’s feet have barely touched the ground from the Belfast Holiday World Show but she’s off again tomorrow to the Holiday World Show in Dublin! Chelo, our sales manager will also join her on Friday. Each year there is a great turn out and Sunset Beach Club are proud to be a part of the exhibition, with our stand there. The show runs from Friday afternoon and ends Sunday evening, you can visit my colleagues at the show on stand nº A29, where you can also enter our fantastic competition to win 3 nights stay here at the hotel!

Holiday World Show Belfast

This weekend I’m not the only one that will be experiencing the cold. Debbie our Commercial Director will also be braving the freezing temperatures for a trip to Belfast, where she will be visiting the Holiday World Show. This year’s Belfast Holiday World show will be held at King’s Hall and will be open: 1:00pm- 9:00pm on Friday 15th Jan and 11:00am-5:30pm Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th Jan.

Wedding Journal Show – Dublin Citywest, January 2010

This weekend I will be taking my first ever trip to Dublin! As I’ve heard lots of stories about the town from our guests here at the hotel I am very much looking forward to it! However, the trip of course does have a purpose, myself and our wedding planner, Kerry will be exhibiting at the Wedding Journal Show. The show will be held at the Citywest Hotel and Convention Centre and you will be able to find us on the Sunset Beach Club stand which is nº B38, opening times for the show are as follows:

Friday 15th January, 3pm-8pm, Saturday 16th January 12pm – 6pm, Sunday 17th January 12pm – 6pm. So if your free and in the area please pop by and see us!

La Cala Junior Masters

Last week saw the Junior Masters tournement take place at our sister resort just down the coast, La Cala Golf Resort. This competition is in it’s 6th year and takes places annually on 3rd and 4th January. Teams from all over Spain competed and this year we were lucky enough to accomodate the players here at Sunset Beach Club, where the gala dinner awards presentation was also held, announcing Galicia as this year’s winning team!
