The first English speaking wedding show on the Costa del Sol took place last weekend. The Perfect Wedding Expo was held at the Palacio de la Paz in the Fuengirola fairground. It was the first wedding fair I have attended and I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and the great turn-out of both exhibitors and visitors. There were suppliers present for everything from delicious chcoolate fountains, beautiful wedding dress and evening gown designs to diamonds and jewellery as well as florists, planners and photographers, making it the one stop shop for any bride to be, planning their wedding on the coast. In it’s third year, The International Blues Festival took place last weekend at The Moonlight Cabaret Theatre in Sunset Beach Club. With great value entrance tickets, and lots of fabulous acts it is hardly surprising that there was a fantastic turn- out ! Make sure you keep an eye out for next year’s event!
This weekends sees the First English speaking wedding fair on the coast! Open 10am – 8pm on Saturday 14th October and Sunday 15th October, the “Perfect Wedding Expo” will be held in Fuengirola at the Palacio de la Paz. There is going to be everything you need for planning your wedding day, all under one roof! Many different suppliers will be exhibiting at the show, including wedding planners, wedding fashion, jewellery suppliers, photographers, hair and make-up professionals, florists, transport suppliers, musicians and of course a variety of superb venues for you special day, including Sunset Beach Club!
This week only, Sunset Beach Club is home to “Costa del Soul”! 7 nights of fantastic entertainment- live! Some of Northern England’s Top DJ’s play the very best in Motown, Northern Soul and 70’s/80’s Club Classics. Chelo, our sales manager arrived in Dublin yesterday and today is attending the Senior Times’ Over 50 show at the RDS centre, representing Sunset Beach Club! She will be there all weekend and is sharing a stand with the Andalucian Tourist board, so if you are in the area pop in and say hi!
Two weddings in two days! Yesterday was the wedding of Sarah and Derek who got married in a local church ceremony and today is the wedding blessing of Mary and Mick whose ceremony is taking place as I type! Congratulations to both couples!

Beautiful Al fresco dining at a poolside location! Last week Jim & Elaine got married in a church ceremony in Benalmadena Pueblo (The Old Village) and then celebrated with a gala dinner reception in our terrace restaurant followed by drinks and disco until 5am in our Moonlight Bar.
