Warm Weather in Benalmadena!
Well, its only february and already we are enjoying the warm spring weather. The sun is shining and the clouds are few and far between. In my opinion this is the best time of year, nott too hot but perfect for getting a tan and to enjoy a relaxing drink at Pierno’s right on the beach.
Crocodile Park
If you fancy the opportunity to hold a live crocodile then this is the place for you! Complete with baby croc nursery, largest croc in Europe, African fortress and live demonstrations. This is a fascinating day trip to be enjoyed by all.
Nerja Caves
For a fascinating day out Nerja Caves are most definitely a brilliant choice. Situated 35 minutes past Malaga in an Easterly direction, Nerja offers caves which are perfectly situated in the picturesque surroundings of typical Mediterranean villages, full of the unique beauty of Andalucia.

Benalmadena Pueblo
Have you ventured into the original village of Benalmadena? In a raised position a few kilometres from the coastline, fabulous panoramic views can be enjoyed from the original “Benalmádena Village”. It is ideal for a half day visit, where you can enjoy not only stunning views, but also sample some tapas in the village restaurants. If you carry on a little further, you can take the back road to Mijas Village, to make a full day trip.
The Western World’s Biggest Buddhist Temple!
The “Stupa” is the largest Buddhist temple in the western world and we are lucky enough to have it right here in Benalmadena! The Buddhist temple is open to visitors Tuesday through to Friday and the best bit is, entrance is free!
Puerto Banus
Famous for the high-life, fast cars and big yachts, Puerto Banús is located about 40 minutes from Sunset Beach Club, and there is still a good chance you will see celebrities strolling around here – although perhaps not as much as in the 80’s and 90’s. This bustling port offers a great mixture of designer shops and market stalls alongside the harbour, where you can also find some great restaurants and nightclubs which are open until dawn.

Benalmádena Port is a fabulous facility located just a few minutes from Sunset Beach Club, which hosts a wide range of activities, including boat rides, fishing trips, dolphin watching trips, a large shopping centre, evening entertainment and of course great seafood.
