If you are a lover of Paddle Surfing (SUP) and are in Benalmadena this weekend, you are going to have a fantastic time with the celebration of ‘Battle for Hercules 2025’ a top event that will be held from Friday 25th April at Malapesquera Beach.
During the weekend, our town will become the mecca of paddle surfing by hosting national and international riders who will compete for the €8000 of prizes at stake. It’s one of the top competitions in the Paddle Surf circuit and the first of the season for the new European SUP League. The event will have several categories and levels for participants.
If you’re staying with us at Sunset Beach Club, you’ll be able to see some of the races from the promenade just in front of the hotel as the participants will have to paddle all the way up to the beach just next to the hotel (facing the Marina).
The two main races will take place on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th April with several courses and circuits.
During the event you’ll also be able to enjoy parallel activities including an initiation to paddle surfing, talks, demonstrations, material tests and, of course, musical performances to liven up the afternoon.
