Fuengirola’s main fairground is ready to host the ever-popular ‘Feria Internacional de los Pueblos’ (International People’s Fair), a multicultural event where visitors can experience the rich cultural diversity the city has to offer.

Just a quick heads up… this year the fair changes it’s name to ‘Feria Internacional de los Paises’ (International Countries Fair). That being said, the logo and unifying spirit of the fair remains the same.

This year the Fair will last 6 days (from 27th April to 2nd May, 2022) as the organisers have decided to extend it by a day seeing as the 1st May bank holiday falls on a Sunday.

For those of you who have yet to visit the Feria de Los Pueblos, it really is a must-see event where you’ll be treated to beautiful music from all over the world, delicious mouth-watering foods (The Argentinian Barbecue is highly recommended :-)), traditional dances and a dazzling display of colourful costumes.

The 33 countries taking part this year are the following:

Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Spain, Cuba, Australia, Turkey, South Africa, Japan, Bolivia, Germany, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Greece, Chile, Belgium, Colombia, Brazil, India, Ireland, Hawaii, Romania, Ukraine, Venezuela, Peru, Estonia, Ecuador, Bulgaria, United States, Mexico, Finland, Jamaica, Great Britain and Uruguay.

In previous years the fair has managed to attract nearly one million visitors, cementing its reputation as one of the most popular and successful events on the local calendar.

The fair will be open to the public from 1.00pm to 4.00am every day at the Fuengirola Fairground so there’s plenty of time for you to explore all the stands and enjoy the uniqueness of each country’s culture and traditions.

Be sure not to miss the colourful Street Parade which will take place at 11:30am on Saturday 30th April; All the countries exhibiting at the fair will be showing off their artistic talents (singing and dancing) as they make their way down the main Fairground Boulevard and through the streets of Fuengirola.
