Benalmadena Town Hall’s department for Environment, Parks and Gardens will organize the 15th edition of the Collector’s Plant Fair to be held on the weekend of April 15 to April 17 in the Parque de la Paloma.

This stunning park with more than 100,000 m2 of green areas is the ideal place to celebrate this new edition of the Plant Fair which returns after a two-year absence due to the pandemic. Paloma Park is home to an impressive collection of palm trees (with more than 90 species), Bamboo, Aquatic plants and one of the best and most spectacular open-air collections of Cacti and other Succulents in Europe (6000 m2 of surface area).

During the weekend of the fair, collectors and garden lovers can enjoy the promotion of families of little-known and interesting plants. Given the interest in this new edition, the organizers have seen a considerable increase in the number of exhibitors, and consequently, an increase in the number of rare plants to be exhibited.

In past editions, the Collector’s Plant Fair had record numbers of visitors and this year they also expect to welcome thousands of avid horticultural specialists. The fair has undoubtedly become a national and international reference for plant lovers.

To give you an idea of what to expect, visitors will be able to see many rare plant species, including: Tropical, subtropical, cacti and other succulents, caudex, bulbs, aromatics, palm, horticultural, medicinal, orchids, fruit trees, bamboo, ferns, fungi, bonsai trees and many more!

Attending the fair is free and if you are interested in the exhibition, sale or exchange of plants you can also do this free of charge by registering for the event.
