Family fun on unexpected extended holiday!

Although the volcanic ash and flight cancellations have caused severe disruption to many tourists here on the Costa del Sol, there’s still plenty of guests here that are making the most of their unexpected extended holiday in the sun! Feria de la Tapa at Tivoli

This month Tivoli World Amusement Park in Arroyo de la Miel have been celebrating the wonderful world of tapas! Each weekend offers a different speciality, this weekend is the turn of the “Arroces” which means there will be different rice dishes to be tasted, entrance to the park is free during this event and it is open from 12 – 7pm, with a tapa and drink setting you back just 1.50€. A great way to try some traditional cuisine and keep the kids entertained, especially with sunny skies forecast for the weekend!
III International Blues Festival Benalmadena

In it’s third year, The International Blues Festival took place last weekend at The Moonlight Cabaret Theatre in Sunset Beach Club. With great value entrance tickets, and lots of fabulous acts it is hardly surprising that there was a fantastic turn- out ! Make sure you keep an eye out for next year’s event!

Some of Northern England’s Top DJ’s play the very best in Motown, Northern Soul and 70′s/80′s Club Classics. Tickets are available from the Sunset Beach Club leisure desk, enjoy 7 nights of soul from just 39€ (31st October – 7th November)!

Yesterday was another day of non-stop fun for the Pirate’s club! Pirate’s day is always very popular, which is hardly surprising with such great activities and entertainment staff! Another Pirate’s day will be held tomorrow, so make sure your kids enjoy the funfilled day during their holiday!

Wedding Reception in Benalmadena

Ann Marie and Darren are getting married in Benalmadena this afternoon and will then be celebrating their wedding reception with us here at Sunset Beach Club later on this evening. Their gala dinner will be served in the Moonlight room and they will then enjoy a flamenco show followed by a disco!
Children’s evening entertainment

Once again this Summer we will be offering an Evening kid’s club which will be starting tomorrow from 6.30pm – 9.00pm! This fantastic facility giving parents a night off is available 3 nights per week, for children aged 5-12 years and for just 6€ including dinner. Evening activities include mini bingo, face painting, drawing contest, disney films and much more!

Country goes Crazy!

Another great addition to the Summer entertainment programme! Tonight is the first night of “Country goes Crazy!” Every Thursday night from now until the end of summer Sunset Beach Club’s Moonlight Bar will be taken over by a night of Country fun and line dancing!
