This Sunday 22nd June 2025, Benalmádena will celebrate Corpus Christi, a gorgeous festivity full of colour and amazing aromas thanks to a spectacular carpet of flowers laid on the streets by the villagers.
This beautiful festivity is celebrated in many Andalusian villages sixty days after Easter Sunday; however, Benalmadena Pueblo’s rendition is now regarded as one of the most beautiful in the province, attracting many visitors.
Some of the most popular attractions for tourists visiting the Costa del Sol during the hot summer months are the Water Parks. There are two located within easy driving distance from Sunset Beach Club; however, today we will feature the Coast’s biggest water park: Aqualand!
Located in Torremolinos, Aqualand provides a truly amazing day out for all the family. Our Community Manager recently re-visited the park with his family and some friends and the following is his review of a day at Aqualand. Over to you Justin…
Do you enjoy walking and hiking in the countryside? Although better known as a sun and beach holiday destination, Benalmadena also offers many entertaining activities during the quieter and cooler winter months. Two of those activities are walking and hiking.
Benalmadena boasts an impressive network of natural walking routes and trails from which you can experience unbelievable views of the Costa del Sol and beyond.
Under the slogan ‘Rumbo al Puerto 2025’ (Heading to the Port 2025) the Town Hall’s Department of Commerce and the Port Authorities have prepared a very complete Activities Calendar in the Marina for this month of February.
The fun begins this weekend with the performance of ‘Rock Cirk’ on Saturday and Sunday (you can check the schedule in the poster below). The show starring the Rolabola company, winner of the National Circus Award in 2017, will combine circus performances with rock music: fun for the whole family!
On the 6th and 7th September – the picturesque white village of Guaro celebrates the 26th edition of its famous ‘Luna Mora’ Festival.
As has been the case since before the pandemic, festivities have been reduced to two days (It’s used to be four). However, they’ve still managed to put together an impressive programme of events with activities and entertainment for all the family.
Throughout the weekend, the village becomes a meeting point for traditional Andalusí music and culture. The streets come alive in the evenings with the stunning illumination of 20,000 candles strategically positioned to create a unique and magical ambience. Visitors will also be able to enjoy the traditional Arab artisan market, workshops (Henna and belly dancing), street performers, storytelling and mouth-watering gastronomy.
If you’re a fan of food trucks and street food then you’re going to love the Festival taking place in Pueblosol (Arroyo de la Miel) from the 2nd to the 4th August.
