Are you thinking of visiting Benalmadena in the Autumn?

It’s a fantastic time of the year to visit. Not convinced? Read on for our 10 Reasons to visit Benalmadena in the Autumn…

1. The Weather!

Forget the stifling heat of summer. Autumn in Benalmádena promises weather that’s still warm enough to enjoy the pool and the beach. Average daily temperatures are in the 20ºC to 25ºC range and there’s plenty of sunshine to work on your tan.

2. No Crowds

No queuing up for sunbeds early in the morning! The pool area is nowhere near as busy as in the summer so you can grab a sunbed without hassle. You won’t have to worry about queues at your favourite tourist attractions either. Your favourite beaches are also a lot quieter and you’ll easily find a spot near the shore to lay your towel and enjoy uninterrupted views out to sea.

3. The Fuengirola Fair

You get to visit one of the best local fairs of the year, the Feria del Rosario in neighbouring Fuengirola. Known for its colourful processions and a focus on horses, it’s a great way to experience true Spanish culture. Tasty tapas, Flamenco dancing and drinking ‘rebujitos‘ (a refreshing alcoholic drink with manzanilla wine, lemonade, fresh mint and ice) are also on the agenda if you visit.

4. A Walk Through Paloma Park

Located in the centre of town – and within easy walking distance from Sunset Beach Club – this stunning park boasts over 200,000 square metres of green areas including lush gardens where you can sit and enjoy a quiet picnic as you watch the world go by. A large lake in the centre of the park, various kids parks and varied wildlife roaming free throughout the park make for an entertaining day out.
